Both of them did what they said they would do, and when they would do it. They always followed through. They never made false hopes or did the obligatory "pat on the head". I began working with Ed, Candace, and Beyond Breakeven Inc. in early January 2012, part time, as a Project Screener. My wife, started as an Appointment Setter in early December, 2011. When I saw how happy she was, I did ask her if BBI needed a part time person to handle nights and weekends. After speaking with Ed, I knew I had to be a part of BBI! Luckily, I was accepted! In May of 2012, I was laid off from the full time employer, and Ed brought me on full time!! Now, I ask you, how often does than happen? This was the first position I had where I felt I was a part of something great, not just a number or someone that did not matter to the employer, like the one that laid me off. He really had my interest at heart!!! Ed and Candace provided me with first class training, and did not make me feel stupid whenever I asked questions or made a mistake. When a mistake was made, I was shown how and why it was a mistake. I actually got to learn from them. Ed also provided me with books to read to better myself. I still have them and read them. The volume of information alone was worth the fee. The previous review is, without a doubt, utterly worthless. They have nothing to share yet they leave a single star? Why bother to leave a fragmented and disjointed review when it is clearly evident no service was actually performed? As to the clauses within the contract anyone is free to read it and simply not do business with a particular company. Total scam business…read more Contracted with him to design a kitchen to include design plans, structural design work to remove a bearing wall, and design front and rear porch with steps. From the get go, plan dimensions were wrong and never verified in the field, cabinet sizes were not standard and to the height we selected. We even told him the sizes we wanted. Being a retired carpenter by trade, I knew what I was talking about. The owner said he was a registered architect in Kentucky when he was not, nor registered in Florida. He has no structural engineer that works for him either. Architectural and engineering plans, along with a building permit that was to take eight weeks total was still in a schematic phase after seven weeks. He blamed me for a difficult design and that was why the time took so long. Problem was he didn't know how to design cabinets. For example, he called for a standard sink base cabinet which is 36" to be 37". Other base cabinets in plan were not standard sizes and had multiple filler strips attached. Poor design. What took him seven weeks to attempt to design was done by a local cabinet store in five hours. When I complained and wanted money back I was told my $4500 dollars was non refundable as per my contract. Now I have to take him to court to try to get my money back. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This was nothing but a scam business with no experience. I tried to resolve this amicably with him but all I was told is money is non-refundable.
