From the onset of our search for A DJ, Flobo was engaging and extremely timely and responsive. He immediately got on a call with us and asked us what we were looking for in a DJ. He took note and also gave us advice from his own experience. After reviewing his website and speaking with him, we decided to book him. We booked a bit early (like a year and a half before the wedding lol), so there was a lot of chill time in between booking and the wedding, but Flobo always made himself available via a phone call or email, and he always answered any questions we had. Cut to about two months before the big day, Flobo took the time to facetime us and go over every single detail of the wedding, from start to finish. He also took note of any special cultural cermonies and songs we wanted to play during the wedding. He also took note of what songs we didn't want played, which is extra thoughtful! On the wedding day, Flobo DELIVERED. His energy was unmatched, he was so kind to all the guests and worked well with all of our vendors. He made sure to pronounce everyone's names properly before his MC duties, and he literally kept the party going from start to finish. He played all the songs we wanted, added some of his own creative genuis to the mix, and kept everyone on the dance floor without playing songs for too long or for too short. Also, you know you picked the right DJ when he's literally on the dance floor teaching everyone how to dance to the Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble. Some of the venue staff were even getting down, haha. Everyone after the wedding complimented us on Flobo's work and how there was a great mix of music the entire night. DJ Flobo was the absolute best DJ for our wedding this past weekend. I didn't realize how important a DJ was for your wedding until I found him setting the mood for some of the most memorable moments of our day. He was hired for a long day. We started our ceremony at 2:30 and he played all of our requested ceremony songs as requested. We then had our cocktail hour where we wanted slower/chill songs. We didn't really give him too much direction when we had our hour long phone call, but he did not play one song I didn't love. He also was great as an emcee, giving all of our guests direction for each step of the rest of the night in a fun, cool manner. After the ceremony/reception, we moved to a bar that we rented out and he set up center stage and killed it! He was also very patient with our drunk guests, and also patient with some of their requests! He just hit the mark every time we needed it. One of my favorite parts of the day was when I was taking couple portraits with my husband and he just changes the song to "Easy" by the Commodores and I absolutely melted and forgot about the photos (I typically hate taking photos!) We are a couple from Chicago, IL and planned a wedding 2,000+miles away from our venue.
