The best Chiropractor I've been to. They really care about your whole health. This place is not…read morejust an adjustment when you hurting. They strive to prevent you from ever hurting.

A good friend Jason badly injured his back around the time that I was t-boned last November. When…read morehe saw me, weeks later, he noticed the difficulties I was still having with back pain and began to testify about the guy that got him back on his feet and back to work. That person is Dr. David Bachman of Gulf Coast Family Chiropractic, just off Co Rd 10 & Hwy 59 in Foley. (It's behind Family Dollar at end of cul de sac) My first visit included an evaluation, which was extensive, with multiple in-house x-rays, a thorough history, and an extended discussion with Dr. Bschman. (I call him David these days) In my history, I'd explained my previous extended chiropractic experience in TN that was pivotal after a nasty car accident that ruptured multiple discs and damaged nerves which had left me with chronic persistent migraine-like headaches all these years later. I'll come back to the headaches .... On my second visit I was given an introduction that included printouts of my X-rays that showed an average patient in comparison to my pics. I then sat in a conference room to watch a roughly 30-minute video that was a pretty comprehensive overview of chiropractic, and methodologies with an emphasis on techniques and goals. It also explained all the materials included in the packet and a guide to proper interpretation. My visits started off three times per week, I'm now on twice a week, but before making a change, to hopefully once a week, they explained in advance that they'll be doing a full reevalulation to determine my point of progress. That will include new set of x-rays. (no additional charges) Since starting my therapy, 3 times a week, I have drop to bi-weekly, now once a week. My pain has decreased significantly and my range of motion has increased as well. Insurance pays for a significant portion of all the treatment, x-rays, etc. and for extended therapies they offer a ln affordable payment plan so the monetary isn't too painful either :-) My wife is Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and I have always been a student of osteopathic and holistic approaches to health and wellness. That's another reason that David's methodologies is such a good fit for me because he's all about the causes and not the symptoms. They also believe and promote aroma therapies and have a sauna on site as well as a regular massage therapist. The fact that that they listen to you, really listen, work in concert with your needs a d wishes and pay close attention to detail is outstanding and not easy to find these days, I'm impressed and at ease with my treatment plan. There's a comfortable waiting area, but waiting is rare, on my visits, because they space out the appointments appropriately and there's a big space with three treatment tables. As for the space, there's a comprehensive number of steps to your regiment that includes exercises in a big ball, stretch bands, a chair cushion, yoga mats, wall traction, flex chair, inversion table, and vibration platforms. Regarding headaches, David is one of a limited number of chiropractors that's trained in chiropractic migraine and headache therapies and care. This has been wonderfully evident when I've gone in for my sessions when I had a bad headache. He focused on my head, neck, and shoulders and it's made a difference, cool! For some who haven't had a chiropractic experience, it is a safe and effective solution that will not only get rid of headache pain but actually treat what's causing the headache in the first place. There's a lot of research out there saying that regular chiropractic care is indeed an effective treatment for some of the common types of headaches. Those include migraines, tension headaches and more. There's many more potential benefits for young and old and what was once considered "alternative" medicine is now widely accepted as "complimentary". Both my chiropractic and primary care doctors are aware of one anothers recommendations and that gives me another level of confidence. Bottom line: These folks have an excellent staff that are friendly, patient, and efficient that make sure you are well informed and keep you up to date with your treatment, progress, and appointments. (I get texts the day before and day of appt.) David is also very friendly, professional and he genuinely cares, and that works for me. Highly recommend!!!!
