AIM is one of the most organized and professional dance companies that my family has had the…read moreprivilege with which to work. The handbook is distributed that covers almost every question imaginable, and the website clearly states the classes and costs available to the students. There are many opportunities from those who want to simply dance for enjoyment, to dance competitively, to those who want to pursue dance as a career. Dance classes are indeed not an inexpensive pursuit, but the lessons these students learn are not only about the craft, but about discipline and commitment. My daughter loves the structure and expectations of this studio, and the performances are artistic and professional. As a theater director, I appreciate the work the instructors put in, and the care they give to their students. I highly recommend if you have a child serious about learning to dance.

Very poorly run dance studio, if you are just looking for somewhere for your child to enjoy dance…read morefor fun. they literally nickel and dime the dancers families, it is totally out of control. You expect to pay for classes, but then they decide you must by all leotards, tights and shoes from them to conform to a class specific dress code which ofcourse the costs of which are increased. Then also cancel classes but still charge for the class along with regularly double charge the autopayment. Recitals, you pay for the privilege to be in the recital, but you really can't opt out. You pay for the costumes, you cant really call them much of a costume, just another way for the studio to make money by providing the cheapest costume they can purchase. You have to pay for the pictures for the recital..again overpriced and not overly great pictures. You are expected to work sale tables during the recital and also provide donations for these tables. You are expected to give a monetary donation to be given to the teachers but is that not what the class fee is for? My favorite to date is, not only do they charge a nice price for recital tickets, they now expect us to purchase tickets, for the dancers if they plan on staying after they dance if you have other children in the recital..of course they have stated these tickets will be at a reduced cost and must be paid in cash! they also have various fundraisers, and they participate in local parades, which everyone must be wearing aim wear that you must purchase from them and for the parades and such each dancer must provide bags of candy.
