I came in to get photos printed for a locket. They told us that they could do that & put the photo in the locket for us, charging $30 for the service. What was delivered was a single 4x6 with several sizes of the same photo -- I could have done it in photo shop in 10-minutes then printed it at Walgreens for $0.39. They did not put the photo in the locket, but returned it empty contrary to their word. I'm a photographer who considered giving them some of my printing business, but I would urge everyone to find different printers based on our experience. I had brought a project in, explained clearly my time considerations. They took one of my originals to print on archival paper, and said they would call me the next day for me to see the print. They never called, and when I went to pick up all of my originals and the one print, it took them several minutes to find my originals. Then I asked for my money back as there was no copy in the items they handed back. It took another employee another several minutes to find the one print. She said they thought they had more time, which I had explicitly stressed originally. The print was not good. The medium was not as expected (which is on me), but then she wanted to waste more of my time explaining the quality (or lack thereof). If a business has to explain the quality of their work, that speaks volumes. If you are looking for timely, go elsewhere. I truly regret giving this company a chance, despite the numerous bad reviews I had read beforehand. Unfortunately, my experience only confirmed the negative feedback. I had 33 VHS tapes that I wanted to convert to digital files for my family. After texting with the owner, Frank, he gave me a price for the service and hard drives--$45 for a 256GB hard drive. I decided to trust them, especially after a friendly interaction with the young lady at the front desk, who was the only reason I felt I could proceed. After putting down an $650 deposit (80% of the balance), I was then informed that their employee was on vacation, meaning the conversion process would be delayed. On top of that, the pricing for the hard drives suddenly changed--now a 128GB drive for $89! When I asked if I could bring my own drive, they added an unexpected $99 upload fee. Nowhere was this mentioned initially. I ended up paying over $900 for the service, with a per-tape charge of $23. After waiting for the employee to return from vacation, I reached out to inquire about the timeline. I was told it would take another 2-3 weeks to complete. The very next day, I received a call saying my tapes were ready. Naturally, I was skeptical--and for good reason. After reviewing the files, it was clear they rushed through the process. I was also shocked to discover that I was missing one of my tapes, which I had specifically asked about when picking up my order. Frank's wife, didn't know which tape was blank, and when I asked for clarification, I was assured it would be returned and included with my other tapes. But it wasn't. To make matters worse, four of the tapes had less than 5 minutes of footage on them. I contacted Frank, explaining that I had paid a lot of money for this service, and asked if I could replace those tapes with others. His response was beyond unprofessional. He accused me of not paying for services I had already settled, and instead of addressing the issues, he deflected and acted dismissively. When I confronted him about the discrepancies in pricing, he completely ignored my concerns. I also requested an itemized invoice to confirm whether I had been refunded for the missing tape. Since then, Frank has stopped responding entirely. His lack of empathy and customer service speaks volumes about the kind of business he runs. I will never return to this business or recommend it to anyone. They are overpriced, rude, and poorly managed. If you're looking to get your VHS tapes converted, do yourself a favor and go to More Than Memories in Knoxville, TN. Wil Davenport offers excellent service, edits the videos, adjusts lighting and audio, and goes above and beyond. read more

As a photo enthusiast and in the business myself I know what to expect and how the service and quality should be. I stopped by to get some things done when I was visiting Knoxville. Frank and the staff were very nice and knowledgeable. I had some video work done that he could do and I could not. Turned out beautifully. He also did some work for me later in the spring that was equally good. When you're in Knoxville, living or visiting, stop by and see them! Frank, who said he was the owner, transferred 35 mm slides onto a CD for me. He personally told me on the phone that the slides would appear on the disc in the order that I placed them into the slide carousels. When I got the disc they were out of order. When I went back and asked what happened, he said I would have to pay them more money to put them in the correct order. I had spent hours arranging them and I very angry about this. Mark did a 8mm transfer for me and did an outstanding job. I would give Mark 10 stars if I could, but I will never be a customer again. My advice is to stay away from a place that cannot tell the truth or stand behind their services. read more

I absolutely cannot recommend this place to anyone. After they printed our wedding invitations with RSVPs telling people to respond by April 1, they told us the only person who was able to complete the order quit and they wouldn't have anyone to finish it until mid-March. Obviously, this wasn't enough time with the already printed RSVP date. After an ongoing battle with staff who didn't know how to operate any of the programs (apparently the employee who quit is the only one who knows how to do the job), they would not allow us to pick up our order unless we paid $55 more dollars due to their "inconvenience". It is not our fault that someone quit in the middle of our order. We ended up spending $2000 on invitations and envelopes of poor quality. The envelopes are see through and would not seal. We had to buy envelope glue to close them. Many of the invitations were cut incorrectly and cut off words/weren't centered. When we expressed our concerns, multiple different employees consistently disregarded us and never once said they were sorry or took any responsibility for the situation. Unfortunately, this experience added that much more stress to wedding planning and now every time I look at my invitations all I see is the unpleasant experience I had here at an astronomical price. Having worked in retail myself, this is absolutely not how the situation should have been handled. They may be great at other things, but DO NOT get your invitations or custom graphic design done here. read more
