I…read morerequested several times they schedule the dogs 1 week apart because it's easier for me to just handle 1 at a time. Today when they phoned I was asked if the appointment was for both dogs. My wife made the appointment so I asked her and she said she thought so. I dropped both off at 10AM. I ran out of things to waist time doing so pulled in their lot past noon even though they hadn't called. After setting in the lot a while I went in to check and was told 1st dog would be another 15 minutes. Jeanne then in a not nice tone of voice told me I could never bring the dogs again at the same time. It was her who recently told me how behaved they'd been and I should bring them in together. I reminded her I preferred bringing them a week apart and it's also easier on them to not have the dogs acting up with each other. Someone said that's no problem because they have extra help. They'd always done such a nice job but I don't appreciate being talked to that way especially when it was me who didn't want to bring them in together. We paid cash with a nice tip but I won't return.

We were so fortunate to find Martha's Deadwood Doghouse. She worked with us in terms of dropping off time for what was going to be a full day of day care but a very short notice turned into an overnight stay. She made sure to follow all of the instructions we had in terms of food, water and sleeping arrangements for our little ones. She also communicated with me all throughout their time with her and even sent me a photo so that I could know that they were doing great. In all honesty my dogs don't do boarding all that well they're normally pretty freaked out by the next day. However, when I picked them up the next day they were both calm and relaxed which was a wonderful surprise. With her being located less than five minutes from deadwood it made getting back-and-forth incredibly convenient. If we're ever in the area again we absolutely will use her services and wish she was located closer to our home so that we could have someone that reliable and amazing to look after our dogs all the time.

My pets and I have had THREE emergent issues within the last 5 years. Each time, I have called this clinic for help, regardless of where I am living at the time. She is the ONLY person I can count on to always answer and to always give me direct, knowledgeable advice. No nonsense! She goes far above and beyond and deeply cares for animals. Tonight I had an issue with my cat after normal, clinic hours and she was the only one that answered my call. She gave me advice on what to do and even called me back awhile later to check up on how everything was going.
