And they deliver for a modest price if you want a larger object and don't happen to have your own truck. Staff are friendly and helpful, you'll think of them as friends fairly fast. Browsing the store is always a pleasure because there are so many interesting things to see. I am so looking forward to my next visit.

And when we were about to leave we got to talking for about half an hour and her husband arrived with donuts, and offered us some donuts. We left very happy with the service and generosity. I love stores packed with stuff but I didn't love this store. The aisles are so small that you really can't walk through them safely without worrying you're going to knock something on the floor. Example, the aisles with the dishes, hard to access the bottom shelf because there is minimal room to bend down. And if I did try to bend down, I know I'm knocking something on the floor. The prices seemed reasonable and the organization was good-like items in the same spots. Too hard to safely navigate lose this place two stars. Neither one of us wants to start up a small business but would look for an old place like this as a residence while still keeping the historical aspect of the place intact. The location of this place does not lends itself to a residence, definitely a business. We met the owner who was busily working but took the time to answer questions and was most pleasant. This place is an antique and consignment store as the name implies. The owner had this place added to the Michigan historical list which means she is limited to what she can change inside and out keeping the historical integrity of the building. The level of respect immediately went up for me as both my wife and I are big supporters of historical landmarks such as this. The items for sale are displayed nicely and prices clearly marked. It seems like the perfect business for this place bringing in items from old days gone by into a place that must have been quite a sight with trains and passengers coming and going. The reason for only four stars was the lack of warmth and enthusiasm from the salesperson. They did not speak/greet or acknowledge us until I took my purchase to the counter. Just a simple hello would have been enough. It was interesting as we went into another store a couple doors down and apparently met the owner of both locations, if he had been in the Crow we probably would have bought more! Such a different experience there! I would definitely recommend stopping in, perhaps the salesperson was having a bad day.
