Template massage, not tailored for me as the customer, irrespective of what I'd asked for on first booking, at reception upon arrival, in the little questionaire or with the 'therapist'. But worst of all, she spent sooooooo much time doing things other than massage. An hour booking would include about 30 actual minutes of body work. Little chat at the start, yep you're paying for that in your allocated time, getting changed, you bet, the most extravagant towel wrap ever, uh huh. And half way through, on several occasions she just stopped massaging to do goodness knows what over at the basin/counter.... Hello I'm over here ! #fail #avoid

The girl who did my hair was wonderful and competent. Friendly and did a great job. DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE. The tech was rude, poorly presented, products were a mess and the job was very average. Firstly, I had to get my own chair because she had already plonked herself down and was too busy trying to work out what products to use. After I sat down and was barely acknowledged, the "tech" (I doubt she was a trained nail tech at all, just someone somewhat trained in how to apply gel) couldn't work out what products she needed and her setup was a total mess, brsuhes appeared all chucked in a drawer, tech couldn't tell me if the colour I'd chosen was even the one she was putting on, she just asked if it was close enough, and the file used was obviously used before which is unhygienic and rare in good nail salons. After she semi worked out what colour I wanted, she proceeded to absolutely brutalise my nails my buffing them with a coarse file, hard. I know this is standard in many places, but its completely unecessary, doesn't effect longevity and is absolutely atrcocious for nail health. A week later, my nails are still sore and one even broke due to being treated so roughly. When I complained, I was simply told 'we can fix that', as if painting gel over a broken nail will somehow repair it. As for the application, colour is inconsistent, and only a few have a proper layer of overlay clear gel on top, the rest have been done so heavy handedly that my relatively short nails look misshapen and generally awful. And even better, I have had one come off within the first week. I am sure this salon is reasonable at some things, but clearly they are unqualified to properly do gel overlay. The tech was also quite surprised that I wanted to keep my short nails short, as opposed to tips (they also do sculptures but I cannot imagine this girl doing those successfully). I imagine tips would have also have looked awful (the tech herself had very cheap looking ones) and done my nails even more damage. Don't go here if you want your nails cared for, or to look nice.

I try to get here at least once a fortnight and enjoy my favourite combination - half hour foot massage followed by one hour traditional Thai massage, with a lovely relaxing cup of tea at the end :)
