The kids loved shopping for new shirts, snacks, and seeing what fishing equipment they needed for a trip that didn't involve fishing. We stocked up on car snacks, grabbed pulled pork sandwiches, and a few new shirts for our collection. This was the right choice for us. 31.07.2026

While I understand businesses may ask questions about service animals, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. Krysta loudly questioned me in front of other customers and began reading questions from a paper about what tasks my dog performs. When I tried to explain that I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), she was dismissive and laughed, which was humiliating and embarrassing. Not all disabilities are visible. I felt singled out, judged, and treated with a lack of respect simply because I do not "look disabled." My dog was clearly identified as a service animal, and I even offered proof when questioned. What upset me most was not being asked a question, but the rude and public manner in which I was treated. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed because of a disability. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan on returning.

This location offers easy access both on and off of Interstate 475 around Macon, GA. Unfortunately,…read morethat is probably the biggest positive of this particular Circle K store. I stopped and fueled up at the self-pay pumps and the gas price was average for everyplace we found along the way. I went inside and my wife said she was going back to the car and would wait to find a clean restroom further up the road. One step inside the men's room and I made the same decision. The word "Nasty" does not even begin to describe what awaited inside. I certainly understand that it is a busy location directly off an interstate but still, other locations can keep the restrooms clean and smell fresh, this was just pure inattention. The store was average in every category, they were stocked well for as busy as they were but not what I would call clean or kept up. The prices were above average on most items from Circle K locations in and around towns. IE: most stores offer energy drinks like Monster for 3 for $5 or $5.50 but this store had no offers other than $2.89 per drink. Water also was twice as high as any other stores we stopped at along the way. Probably the worst part was the customer service or total lack of it. There was no line and when I approached the counter to check out three girls behind the registers debated on whose turn it was to help the next customer. As the girl finally comes up and starts to pull my items toward her another guy comes inside and the cashiers all make talk with him. the girl that is checking me out who has yet to ever utter a word or make any eye contact talks with the guy taking his money and turning on an outside pump for him while teasing. Obviously, he was most likely known to them or a regular but still profoundly unprofessional at best. I checked out without so much as a word of interaction, other than the total price. I slid my debit card and left without ever making eye contact with the clerk. I realize I and other customers obviously interrupted a conversation between her and her coworkers and that they really did not want to be there but what if their customers all decided they really did not want to be there either? The bottom line is we make this trip regularly and this is one place we will not bother the staff at again.
