Found them via Google. This one was unique. They will do the stuff, fold it and deliver it back to me in my personal blue laundry bag they provide. All this was done overnight. This morning I got back my laundry, folded in the blue bag. Took me less than five minutes to get every thing back into drawers. Finally, I can see my floor again! Yes, I have been a slob recently. Poor health was a factor, but not the main cause. The folding puts my teeth on edge. Also gave them some badly stained work towels. They came with some faint memory of the stain, but you could tell they were clean. Cost was reasonable. Service was superior.

The operation no longer feels tight or reliable. Pricing has become the bigger problem. Same drop-off, same order, four basic shirts. Three were priced normally. One -- an ordinary school-style blouse -- was more than double the cost. No special fabric, no special handling. The explanation given was that it cost more because it was a "girl shirt." That's not a reasonable or transparent pricing policy. Add undisclosed environmental fees and multi-day turnaround times, and the experience starts to feel like a moving target rather than a service. Prices continue to rise, but communication and reliability continue to fall. This place used to earn repeat business on consistency. I'd welcome a clear explanation from management about pricing standards and why customers aren't told about added fees upfront.

I stopped by on the morning of February 28 and there was a handwritten sign by the cash register stating they were ten days behind and asking customers to please be patient. Even though my blazer had been there for a month, it wasn't ready but the cashier stated it would be done that afternoon after 4pm. Because I live thirty minutes away, I tried to phone the dry cleaner at 772-226-5469 to confirm my blazer was ready for pickup. Three attempts to phone the business and all calls went to a full mailbox unable to accept messages. After a thirty minute drive a face to face conversation with a newly hired cashier confirmed that my blazer was not ready for pickup. Apparently the receptionist I spoke to earlier in the day had quit. Today, March 3, there is no customer service via phone as their mailbox is still full. After a thirty minute drive I find at 11:30am that their front doors are locked. A hand written sign indicates that they open later in the morning, close earlier in the afternoon and are closed between 11am and 2pm. While I write this review a half dozen other customers are expressing to me their disappointment with Vero Beach Dry Cleaners. Before doing business with this company, I would suggest phoning them. If they answer the phone that might be a good sign. If you don't get an answer or your call gets transferred yo a full mailbox, let that serve as your warning.
