We were prepared and made a reservation ahead of time. We came in, it was easy to get our shoes and lane. We played 2 games of bowling. Only complaint is the bumpers are only for people of a certain height (my sister is 11 but was too tall for them). I appreciate how you can add a photo for each player. I noticed that when people finished their game an employee would come and clean all the chairs, table and screen. We didn't buy any food but the group next to us had a fat order nachos that looked appetizing. Overall, clean and good energy. read more

I came with a few friends, the lady at the front was nice, although I was using an extra small ball because my fingers aren't very thick or long, but the staff took it away because it was only for little kids, I attempted to explain and showed that my fingers could not fit in a medium ball, but the lady didn't want to get in trouble so she offered only a medium, I didn't want to give her trouble, and being just a teen of course I don't have much place to say anything. I understand why there is a rule against men using extra small balls, but I wish they measured based on hands rather than gender or age. I'm not coming back here. read more

I'm considering coming here just for the food. The mushroom Swiss burger and the crispy garlic fries were delicious. My friends had the hot dogs and they liked it too. Service was quick, but there's still lots to do if you need to wait a bit for your lane. They have the option of your food being brought to you or having a buzzer and getting it yourself when you're ready. Staff were all nice and explained things well. Take advantage of making a reservation online if you don't want to wait to start bowling. No glitches at all, but if you needed to reset the pins it was a quick push of a button. Our friend needed a smaller ball, and it was easy to find. BATHROOMS WERE SO CLEAN, I was surprised. There was a good amount of people, expected for a Friday night but the vibes were great. I've been a loyal customer of flamingo bowl for over 3-4 years and have always enjoyed their service. However, after yesterday's experience I won't be coming back. The manager came into our lane and informed us that the "small" balls were for only women and children. I informed him that I didn't have a problem with his policy and would follow the rules of the establishment. A few minutes later one of his lackeys comes into our face and informs us that he will take the balls away in a rude and unfriendly manner. I asked "why?" And he said that I was breaking rules. The ball I was using was a Medium and not a small. The manager had never informed me of such a policy. Very inconsistent and unprofessional. At this point, I think we were just being targeted. I asked to speak to manager "Josh" and he never responded or came to my lane. read more

The place is good-lucking. However lanes break down constantly, balls get stuck, pins get stuck and just it overall glitches when bringing down the pins. Cost is affordable during specials but not worth it. After paying 4 games, I asked for a refund due to us not being able to finish a 3 person game in over an hour because our lanes kept breaking down even after being relocated lanes. Out of the 2 places to bowl in the valley this is the one to go to....place is fairly clean and looks like it's been renovated within the last couple years. Been going the last couple months and haven't really even had the lanes malfunction. Can get busy at times but I usually go early afternoon so no issues there. read more

Horrible place with rude staff. My family and I went to bowl here, and the lanes were malfunctioning. The pins weren't resetting, we were given scores when we haven't even bowled yet, and it was fouling us when we weren't anywhere near the lanes yet (we were by the tables). We told the employees the issue, and they sent a guy named Oracio to "keep an eye" on us. Well, when it was my brother's turn to bowl, Oracio came straight to my brother and snatched the ball out of his hands and told him he can't bowl with a girls ball. We all stared at each other in shock that this grown man walked up to a little kid and did that to him. Then he started laughing and mocking him for using a "girl's ball". He made my little brother feel horrible and ruined his day. A couple weeks later, we decided to give this place another try. We didn't want to give up on it just because of one bad employee. Well, we were so wrong. The staff was just as rude, and the worst part is we paid for our shoe rentals and games, and we were kicked out on our first game mid-game because they had a bowling league event about to start. This time, the employee that was just horrible was Joshua. When I asked for a phone number to contact someone for complaints, they said there is no number, and that it's a family owned business. There is no one to report this to. We ended up filing a dispute on our cards because they didn't want to give us a refund. Last week we went to IncrediBowl in Mission, and even though its not as nice as Flamingo Bowl, its 1000% better. The employees are so much nicer, better environment, when we had problems with pins getting stuck, the employees were so kind, and we weren't belittled for the bowling balls we wanted to bowl with. Wow what a horrible place! Based solely on bowling it would be about 3 stars, but the staff plus pricing makes it really bad. For starters, walking into the place it looks fairly modern and new-ishly renovated. The bowling lanes are nicer than usual and the bar/lounge in the alley is fairly nice. However, the staff can be fairly rude...especially the people working at the food counter. My guy and I ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches that cost almost $20 and when we asked for cups of water the staff rudely told us to pay an extra $4!! WHAT!!?? Then when we asked why we had to pay so much for cups of water when just paid $60 for food, drinks, and bowling they gave us a really rude response of basically take it or leave it. No regard or care for customers at all. We ended up playing one game and leaving. I felt really uncomfortable, like I was being ripped off the whole time. One game, plus grilled cheese sandwiches, plus a couple of beers cost 4 of us just over $80. Absolutely ridiculous! Will not be back! read more

This place is always closed and I took my 3rd chance(stopped by twice previously) today stopping by(a Saturday) to see if he was open. He was. A good start right? NOPE!!! I go in and he doesn't have the weight of the ball I want & I was really bored (not from here & don't have my gear) so I inquired about drilling another ball. He replies that he has 2 appointments in front of me. A couple in there already and another after them, to which I reply "I'll wait". His response was that he's only by appt only & it would have to be another day. I checked and he charges $10 for him to show up to his job!!!! WTF!!!!!!!! He'd rather me pay him an extra $10 than to sell me a new drilled ball that'll cost $200 or more? What an IDIOT. I'll NEVER go back or bowl in S. Nice place but they are forcing people to wear a mask when every business has made mask wearing "recommended" or "advised". It's ridiculus and insulting that the choice to wear a mask or to not wear a mask is not left up to the customers. Do you want to run everyone's lives Flamingo Bowl? And please don't play the, " for the safety of our guests" Garbage, because it's not true. Everyone playing together, knows each other, and if they don't want to wear a mask they shouldn't have to. Are you going to go into people houses and cars and make them wear a mask too? Are you going to manage everything your customers eat as well so they don't eat food and drinks that will eventually effect their health? Very rude staff Girl at front desk looked like she hated her job when I received shoes she threw them to me and was told i only had 20 mins to bowl since there was a line . if i'm paying in going to play as much as I want regardless. Worst bowling experience ever! No seriously, had we known how horrible the rock n bowl set up was we wouldn't have paid. First they jammed us into a lane that was already filled with five people, so we asked to be moved but were not allowed. (we were a group of four and nearly half the lanes were open) We had arrived an hour early to get a table near our lane, but were then made to move. The manager was rude, and the loser cop was ignorant & arrogant. So not worth the money to be treated like crap. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

This place is expensive for something so old and needs renovation. The service was ok. Food and concession was average. We come here only during times that flamingo bowl is over crowded and mind you I live 5 minutes from this place. The food is bad. We had ordered the supreme nachos which came with fajita, bean, lettuce, and cheese. There was literally only like 3 pieces of fajita on our order. Not worth the money. As for the bowling, my wife has trouble bowling heavy bowling balls due to medical conditions she had in the past. I had requested a 6 lbs ball for her to use. The guy at the register told us no. I had to insist several times until he finally gave up and gave me the ball. This is the last time I ever go there. read more

Was very displeased with my time here. I came with a group of people to play Rock n Bowl. The people are no where to be found when the pink pins are out. When and if you get a strike they play dumb and say they didn't see it. I haven't been here in 5 years and this place still seems to go more and more down hill. Best bowling alley in the Valley. The place has one new remodeled bar with a great projector, and a secondary pool hall bar with lots of tables to play pool on. Lanes are in good condition, and the atmosphere is usually kicking. Food is expensive and not very good. Customer service is fair to good. read more

I recently took my 10yr old there with six of her friends and would NEVER go there again. The manager lady was extremely rude and because of "regulations" they would not let the girls have bumpers and many had only bowled once....they had a terrible time with all the balls going into the gutter. until recently, my few times here have been enjoyable. i attempted to take my children to flamingo bowl, TWICE this past weekend. Saturday, they didnt have any lanes with bumpers available, so we went home dissappointed. Sunday, when I called to confirm that a lane with bumpers was infact available, and then showed up less than 10 minutes later. I was informed that there were none available, and there wouldnt be for some time. I feel like she answered my question without bothering to confirm, therefore i feel like i was lied to and the customer service department really needs to be revamped. although they had some lanes available, none with bumpers. THEY MAY WANT TO GET MORE LANES WITH BUMPERS! we didnt go home dissappointed this time, we used my smart phone and found valley bowl, not only did they have more than enough lanes for everyone (i think all of the lanes had bumpers), but the staff was super friendly! we will drive the 15plus extra minutes out of the way, just so we dont have to come back to a place with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more
