I'm posting this review because I see all positive comments in the buyers perspective, (nothing wrong with that), but, as a consignment customer, I consider is my duty to warn future consigners. I dropped off, at Cornelius Fifi's store, some Brand name, brand new dresses and shoes from my daughters, with tags on, they weren't price immediately, but I had to sign a contract and wait for an e-mail with the list of prices. That's their catch, because after you leave your items you can't get them back.. I was shocked!! a $200 Michael Kors dress, tags on, priced $80 minus 60% (Fifi's %) I got paid = $32 ..., a Gucci bag valued $150 priced $30 I got paid $12, a Nine West purse valued $50 priced @ $9 I got paid $3.60..same thing happened with the other items. And if is this is not enough, Fifi's don't return your items if you change your mind before the 60 days period (the contract doesn't tell you this), but if your items get damage in the store, they get disposed or donated without your knowledge, because after you consign Fifi's pass to own the merchandise!!. For buying could be a good deal to visit this store, but for consigning it's a HUGE RIPOFF. Good thing is that after the awful experience and learning from it, I'm selling in E-bay and getting way better profit.... read more

Had a very nice experience with consigning my clothes! Very fast turn around during a seemingly busy time. I actually left another consignment place who only took 3 of my higher-end items. I was a little taken back by the other store because they were in good condition etc. Fifi's took many more items & told me some of those that they didn't choose were only because of the season (spring vs fall) and that I was welcome to bring those items back at that time. Much nicer experience-wish I came to Fifi's in the first place!!! read more

Was disappointed with Fifi's. I didn't feel they advertised my items properly and so many of them did not sell. They were locked away in a case with no mention of the brand which I feel would draw people in to look at them. They have a huge sign for Chico's clothing but no sign for a high end designers. Their prices seemed high for used items. I did find a pair of nice Anne Taylor heels that looked brand new for $18, so I was happy about that. read more

I wish there was a "0" I could give these condescending, pompous, arrogant women and business. I went to this store twice in the last month - the first time was a brush off like they didn't have time to even see what I had, but I chalked that up to someone having a bad day; the second time was a disaster - I had to bring in the items with no help (not even to open the door); and then she looks at the "samples" she had me bring in first, only to say she "thinks" she can take them. Some of them still had price tags on them. We are not talking Old Navy here...we are talking St. John, Antonio Melani, Donna Karan, etc. After I brought the rest of the clothes in, I had about 15 pairs of shoes, again same quality and rarely, if ever, worn. Without even looking at all of them, just the sandals on top, she quickly said with a wave of her hand, "we aren't taking sandals now" - she missed the 8 or 10 pairs of non-sandals. At that point, I started taking my clothes back and told her she wasn't getting my clothes either, this was the second time I had to deal with attitude in this store and I was done. Never, ever, ever again and I recommend everyone else do the same. read more

The ownership & staff at FiFi's have really stepped it up in the new location! As they have settled in providing the best in quality gently used & new items on consignment. Recently they have added a Gentlemen's line so we can now dress the guys in designer labels for less than retail shopping... I had heard mixed reviews from friends regarding consigning items to this store, but since I live nearby decided to give it a try. I first went on to the website to verify brands accepted as well as drop off times. I arrived with 3 items. The clerk said they would all be accepted, although they really like to have 5 items minimum. I said I did not have any more items. Then the coercion, lying and rudeness began. She kept insisting I must have some more nice spring clothes. I told her I did not and just wanted to drop these off and get back to work. What about jackets, shoes, I finally said I may have some North Face jackets at home and I would think about dropping them off later. Suddenly she changes the policy and says I must go home and get those other items. I informed her I did not see this policy on the website. She then got red faced and insisted it must be on the website because they had a new web manager. I must go home and retreive the other items she insisted. I think not! I just tried to call the store manager to complain about this rude clerk, but after hanging on the phone for 5 minutes with no recording the phone opted to a busy signal. I have heard great things about Summerbird in Charlotte, that is where I will be going in the future. Gook luck getting people to donate, Fifi. read more

I went in looking for a red scarf and some dress shoes. The scarves were slim pickins but they had plenty of dress shoes. For 80 year old ladies. All the shoes in my size were either outdated or old-lady looking. I left with a pair of $6 earrings, went next door to Stein Mart, and found just what I needed there. The girl working at FiFis looked about 15 and had no interest in helping me. Probably won't go back. read more

I have been consigning at FiFi's for a long time. The girls in the store are always helpful and courteous. I also always find great deals when I am there on high end label items I wouldn't buy other wise. Quality is never as issue as FiFi's only takes in the best. I would recommend for any girl trying to find a fabulous new hand bag or a great weekend outfit. Love FiFi's. read more

FiFi's is really great. The staff is so nice and willing to help find outfits for different occasions. Consigning has also been really easy and has been great to use the money to buy new things in the store! I absolutely love FiFi's...it makes it hard to go back to the mall! read more

I have been visiting this store since 2006. Over the past 10 years, I have seen the transition from a small shop to a larger store as well as a change in location. These changes have been positive. The downside is over the last few years, the customer service has been greatly lacking. I have consigned and bought clothes at FiFi's for over 10 years and have never been treated so rudely as I was today. The only nice person in the store was a young college aged girl. The other older women, as well as the manager, were extremely rude. I happened to be checking out at 6pm, which is when the store closes, and was basically made to feel like I was a bother. When the lady (I believe she was the manager), unlocked the door to let me out, she gave me a nasty stare without saying anything such as "thank you" or "have a nice evening". However, her look said it all... "Get out!" I left the store having spent over $100 feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. read more
