After several calls to other offices that only had available appointments more than a week away, I called Hometown dental. They took me in for an appointment one hour away. Their office was clean and well organized, but the staff was wonderful in every way. Their equipment is top notch too, first time I'd ever seen a hand held X-ray machine the posts the X-ray on the exam room TV in less than one second. They remounted my defective cap for me, and I made an appointment for a new one to be created and installed. When I mentioned how wonderful my experience had been, Kayla told me, "...when people love what they do, it shows". She is so right. I highly recommend this dental office.

I got some penicillin and doctor said Tylenol and ibuprofen should work.. like I've been doing that. I work in EMS I know about Tylenol. It's not working. I called back later crying and she was rude on the phone saying ARE YOU GOING TO LET ME TALK ?? someone named Joe. Not nice at all. She was so mean to me on the phone I want to throw up thinking about it. She didn't tell me when to go to the surgeon so I didn't know I could. She also sent to the surgeon who I told her I owed money to so I'm down $600 and got four teeth out now from a dentist who I admire very much in Lee Summit I could go on and on but honey you don't talk to me that way when I'm in fight or flight mode from the amount of pain shooting through my face for hours and hours without some kind of consequence. This post is to help others in pain to NOT GO HERE AT ALL go to a dentist that can help you for the time being and refer you to a surgeon or just go straight to the surgeon if you don't need a referral I really don't know what to do just don't go here I'm not a professional I'm not a doctor but I do work in health field and I have patients all the time and you do not want to go here. I've had two dissatisfactory experiences with this dental practice. I had an abscessed tooth that…read morehad broken and needed extraction. Prior to the extraction, instead of prescribing me an antibiotic to heal the infection, he elected to extract it, immediately. The procedure was extremely painful, due to the infection rendering the anesthetic ineffective. After having multiple extractions, fillings, and root canals with various dentists, it remains the single worst experience that I've ever had with a dentist. He should've waited until the infection had healed, before performing the extraction. I also had this dentist make a full, top denture for me. First, he made mistakes in properly marking references for the lab to make the denture. When it was finished, the denture looked ok, but he was unable to make it fit tightly. He offered explanations for this, though I found good reason to doubt them all. I believe that he didn't want to lose any of the money that I had payed him, by him having to pay the lab to correct the denture. Initially, he had told me that the denture would only require 4 visits, but I ended up having *10* visits in all, and it still wasn't right. Out of frustration, I ended up going to another dentist. I'll never go back to this one. There are many capable dentists in the Sedalia, MO area. I strongly recommend that you avoid Nohaud Azan, DDS.

These are the worst fitting dentures I have had. They have caused me pains for months due to TMJ -…read morethey are not aligned correctly. I have to take them out when I get home from work as they have cause pain in different areas of my mouth. I asked them to take the suction off the top denture as it was causing me to gag. They told me they could not take off more then 3-4mm of the dentures top because that would void the warranty on them. They told me that taking the suction away I would not be able to keep the dentures in even with Fix-a-dent, that is a lie. With my old set of dentures which had no suction, I had no problem with Fix-a-dent. They went directly on having me purchase implants. That was the whole point of not making these dentures work for me. IMPLANTS! They do not know how to make the dentures they make fit properly. I had to drive 85 miles for a 15 mintue fitting in the beginning for them to try and make these dentures fit correctly. Never happened. My husband went to that store for a filling - they quoted him $1,000 but then they lowered it to $500 and he would have to have a periodontal treatment which was $1,500 BEFORE they would fill the small tooth. This business was a rip off from the very beginning.
