As a new visitor, I had to read and sign and pay $20 for a range card. A bunch. And that's on top of the range fee. A little noisy but what indoor gun range isn't. They have eyes and ears to borrow and the targets go way way back. My little pistol isn't much beyond 10 feet so I stuck to the short shots and did pretty darned well. Lots of firearms for sale and they are not at all expensive. Of course, I'd have to pay for the transfer back to North Carolina which adds to the cost. Overall, a good experience and I look forward to the next time I'm here with my Dad and his buddies. [Review 964 of 2024 - 1840 in Florida - 21992 overall]

I went in to the store today to inquire about a sale item advertised via email. A group of "sales…read morepeople" clumped up, bullshitting. I inquired about a sales item and the sales guy acted like I was interrupting. I lead him over to the area where the items were. He did not understand the differences between the different items. They did not have the advertised item in stock. He acted like I was interrupting his conversation and made no effort to get the item advertised ordered. This is why retailers are going out of business. I spend a ton of money here. Time to look for a new business.

I just want to thank Jeff Quinney of First Assurance for an amazing class…read more I took his Concealed Carry class a few months ago and this past weekend, took the Defensive Pistol Fundamentals class. It was a great followup class as I was able to put to practice the fundamentals that I learned during that course. In addition to that, I learned how to safely and quickly draw from a holster, learned about reloads, pistol malfunctions, how to increase speed/accuracy, and more. My confidence is through the roof and I feel so much better prepared than I did before training with Jeff. I highly recommend this course to anyone who has already completed their Concealed Carry class, wants to be a better defensive shooter, or if you just want to be more prepared for what could happen while you're carrying. If you think you don't need this class because you've been around guns your whole life, I will definitely argue that you're doing yourself a disservice by not taking this class. I worried at first hearing that some of the students had been shooting for years and I had only ever shot a gun on 2 occasions before taking this course, but when I saw how much those students were learning and improving on skills that they didn't even know they needed improvement on, I felt confident that I would also be able to fine tune my own skills and build upon what I already knew. My primary focus was on sight acquisition, holster work, trigger control, stance, and reloads and I can honestly say by the end of the day those skills were improved as I was holding a 3" group while working on everything we did :) I can't wait to do this again. Low Light Pistol is next!

One on one lessons with Jeff definitely improved my shooting abilities. After reviewing and working…read moreon the fundamentals such as grip and trigger control, I was able to vastly improve my shooting. One of the biggest benefit was the way Jeff was able to break down and explain what I was doing wrong when I couldn't explain it myself. The use of a shot timer was another useful tool which proved helpful. Jeff was very accommodating as far as scheduling and allowed me to break up my payments to make it more manageable for my budget. It was definitely money well spent and I'm looking forward to some of the workshops he has coming up.
