I have not reviewed sooner because I don't like writing negative reviews because I know it can hurt a business but I also believe we have a responsibility to other consumers to share our experiences so they can make informed decisions. I was assured that this unit would IMPRESS but all it has done is disappoint. It does not heat or cool this VERY small space. Epic was called and came out twice only to tell me that it was working properly. We are faced with using space heaters, fans and a portable AC to find any relief from the cold and heat in the winter and summer, respectively. I just find it disappointing that more locally owned businesses don't stand behind their work or their product. Are we a society that focuses on greed and not quality? My message to those consumers who might be considering EPIC, would be to keep on looking, you'll thank me later.

Nearly a month passed while the errant part wended its way towards Epic. We endured sub-zero temperatures while playing musical space heaters to keep parts of the house warm without tripping breakers. We were promised our repair the Tuesday after Xmas. Still ended up with more left over than I feel should have been. 2- installer didn't have the proper tools to do the job. Took way longer than he said it would take, probably due to lack of proper tools. Left his mess from all of his cuts when he was finally done. 3-not their fault, but the core-tech lvp sucks. You can see footprints instantly, dry feet leave marks, paw prints leave marks, can use any cleaner or it will look horrible. Scratches fairly easily too which it's marketed as good for pets and kids so that sucks. 4-went back trying to get our measurements so we could plan out replacing them and were a manager had to get them for us and they would call us. Never called. Called and reminded them, never called. The gal wasn't helpful or very kind. Do not recommend them or coretech lvp.

We started by going to Floor Traders and their selection was nothing I would put in my house also their sales associate keep following us around in a creepy sort of way like he thought we were going to steal a piece of tile or something. We told our contractor how disappointed we were and he made an appointment with Great Floors. The next day we were greated by Jerry at the front door and she wisked my wife away and showed her around the store. Jerry who is a woman made my wife feel real comfortable and really explained what would look great in our house. You could tell she was a real veteran because she really knew her flooring and how to treat customers. And by the way they have a nice inventory compared to the other creepy store who has rather cheap and not so nice flooring.

I told him I needed top speak to someone and would get back to him in a few days. He left with me waiting on the text with the quote. I received a text a short time later saying he didn't have time in his schedule? How could he not have any time when we didn't agree to any timeline? Written quotes with the expectations on a job are to protect both the home owner and contractor. Companies that won't give a written quote, in my opinion are shady and the customer won't have any recourse if the job is not done correctly.

An absolute ripoff, and it really felt like they were overcharging and taking advantage of me and my mother, because we aren't that educated on electric work, and the usual prices. Apparently they have a $200 minimum fee, which was never disclosed to us. Even if that is true, where did the extra $70 fee come from? There's absolutely no reason to charge that much for such a simple fix, and charging is $70 more than the minimum fee, for the easiest job possible, is unreasonable and unfair. If you're on a budget at all, I would definitely recommend using another electric service.
