Instead of sending a qualified…read morecraftsman to my home to repair some wooden steps, they sent a thief and con artist who turned a two-day job into a two-month nightmare of lies, delays, and overcharges for building supplies that never materialized. The only thing he accomplished was demolishing my old steps, and I was without access to my back porch for over a month. The business owner never checked on why the project was taking so long, and it took me over a week to convince him that the guy he sent wasn't doing the work. The "craftsman" even stole a gallon of custom floor paint. This business is supposed to match your project with qualified craftspeople. Either they are not vetting their subcontractors at all, or they are part of the scam.
