Mr. Noori tempts to get aggressive when things are not done by the way he wants. Despite that I had accepted his price without discussion he did seem take my attempt to haggle 30 DK as an insult. Further I asked Mr Noori to specify the items by the brand on the receipt. Simply because of an insurance case that I had experienced with another tailor some time ago. Other tailors have done this without minding. But for Mr. Noori this was out of deal and it made him quite upset. He accused me for not trusting him and he threw my clothes on the floor. The 5 minutes I had been using of his time was according to him an hour and not useful spending. I left very upset by the episode. The buttons that I had placed on his desk was gone when I came back for them. I can only speak about the service at Noori Skrædderi as the clothes was not handed in for tailoring. And the service was in contrast to the description of Magnus K. an utterly negative experience. Note that "cleaning one shirt for 18 DK" is on the premise that you deliver 5 shirts. This is normal in the industry in Denmark as many may know. But the tailor has not stated this premise on Yelp.

He kept shouting, "NO DOCKET NO CLOTHES" then when I wouldn't leave he was screaming at me to get out of his shop and actually got in my face like he was going to hit me. It was crazy. Nothing I have experienced in the nearly 12-months I have lived here. I had to go and find someone on the street to help me; someone who spoke Danish in an attempt to get more specific with this guy who had clearly lost the plot. After finding this amazing man at a nearby store who came back with me; he was able to calm him down. I simply paid, picked up my clothes and left. After such a dramatic incident, I'm still unsure of the reasoning behind his initial reaction. Maybe he's been messed around before and items have gone missing. Either way, there's no excuse for this reaction. In a city like this, where everyone is so polite and solution oriented, this was a very unsettling incident. Do not go here if you can avoid it.

I picked up the trousers again last Tuesday, and the stitching ripped after only a short time. When I inspected the hem, I found that instead of sewing all four parts properly, only one small section had been stitched or linked. This caused the hem to come undone repeatedly. I have already returned to this shop three times for the same problem, but the issue was never fixed. I am disappointed with the workmanship and will now need to get the trousers repaired elsewhere. Based on my repeated experiences, I cannot recommend this tailor shop.

Located in a quiet (quiet, see: easily overlooked) street in central Copenhagen, and down in a basement nonetheless, this little shop is kind of a mess. But do not be intimidated by this, their skills are superb. And not least their service. They have many times saved my neck by getting a suit altered at the last minute, or making a fever pitch repair to a pair of trousers. And at very reasonable prices, too. They do not accept credit cards, so make sure you bring cash when you go to pick up your clothes. And note that if you buy your clothes at nearby Herrenes Magasin, you can have them altered here at a discount. And any time you buy suits, blazers, or coats off the rack, you should have them altered, so they fit you perfectly.

I had come in with three fine italian suits ruined by a bottle of olive oil that had cracked in my suitcase. The oil soaked through the fabric, the lining, and was very saturated, giving my suits a greenish, darkish hue. I had only a week layover in Copenhagen, and needed my suits to be ready before I left. Within 3 days, not only did I receive my suits, but I received them in utterly pristine condition, as though nothing had happened to them in the first place! I am extremely pleased with their work, and I recommend them fully for all one's dry cleaning services. They also do tailoring, which, if parallel to their dry-cleaning, must indeed be superb.
