Bill came out and gave us estimate stating he could have work done next day; however we need to give him $500 so he could buy the materials. On Monday, he was running late and we advised the weather was getting pretty bad, please come Tuesday morning. Bill promised to be here by 10:30 AM, the time kept changing and he kept promising he was coming. We explained we have an elderly father and we really wanted to ensure it was getting done. Bill kept stating that not to worry he will ensure it's done. Meanwhile we had 3 other people willing to come and do the work. Again, Bill promised it would be taken care of before Hurricane. On Wednesday, he advised my husband he was cutting the aluminum and to trust that he would be coming. Of course we are now super worried as the Hurricane was coming at a CAT4, so my husband calling him, to then start getting Bills voicemail. At the last minute we had to find someone after waiting for hours to come and install wood on our windows and sliding door. It has now started pouring and winds were picking up and thank God we found an honest and trustworthy person that helped us out. Bill then would not respond so we started texting asking for our refund. It took us reaching out to our local police department to get him to respond. He did contact us and told us that he couldn't refund us because he couldn't access his banking on his phone. He needed to wait to access his bank. He wound up sending $350 and told us we needed to wait for the balance because he needed to return the materials to get the refund. When we said we needed the $$ he said he would come and leave material at our doorstep and we could return for our refund. Apparently someone we know on the next door app started texting him and he sent is $100, he is now refusing to pay the $50 balance saying that it's for the estimate. At no point were we advised that there would be a charge for the estimate. This is him trying to keep paying off the balance. This man is a SCAMMER, please do not use this person as you will lose your money!!! Do not trust him.
