From the beginning, he would show up hours to days after he said he would be there. The hard wood…read morefloor he put in was beautiful but I had to constantly check his work because he would try and cut corners. For instance, he was going to leave a ridge of old carpeting sticking out from under a permanently installed bookcase and just install wood over it leaving it raised and tilted. He also didn't want to miter corners on trim work and then had to redo it. At the end, he had to order some specialty trim work and said he would return the next week to install it. He never returned and now won't answer or return phone calls. I should have never paid him until the job was completely done.
