Then, when I was heading back to work, that very excellent daycare no longer had space for him. After a while of settling for a homebased daycare, I remembered Rozzie's and decided to give them another try. I had previously disenrolled my son from there after about 2 months, because a staff member was verbally abuse towards me. However, when I ran into the owner in our neighborhood months later, she said she had terminated the staff member some time ago. I decided to enroll both my kids in october of 2020. I am leaving this review, not to be one sided, but to inform parents of the pitfalls of falling into the hands of the wrong daycare center. Rozzie's daycare centers' actions are unscrupulous, negligent, abusive, greedy and they will stop at nothing for a dollar. After loosing my nanny and having to put both my toddler and my kindergartner in a homebased daycare, I decided to enroll them at Rozzie's with the hopes that it would provide more structure. The problems started piling on one after the other, from day one. The staff was rude, dismissive and had very poor communication skills. They did very little to help my toddler with his potty training and I was constantly having to meet with them about his lack of progress. Meanwhile he was mastering the skill at home. All they would do is make excuses and deflect. Complaints to the owner would be met with promise after promise that "it won't happen again". Then, my worst nightmare began. I was working ft and finally recovering from the destructive pandemic, and the last thing i needed was any daycare drama. However, my baby started coming home with marks and scratches in his face and other areas week after week, which were sometimes concealed from me, leading me to have to confront the staff and owner head on. Sometimes they were remorseful and other times the owner would blow it off as - "kids fight and things will happen". To top it off, my older son was constantly being bullied at the afterschool center. Also, we went from having an agreement of pick up for my baby 3 days per wk to zero pick up for him, without any prior notice. All while I was still being charged the same fee. The owner's response to my complaint, was that I pay a discounted rate, I won't get her price anywhere else, and transportation was only for parents without a car. Though this was definitely not what we originally agreed on. Also, the transportation that my schoolaged son received, was frequently late to take him to school and frequently late to pick him up. The entire transportation service was a joke. It was extremely disorganized, and they only had 2 drivers who were always spread thin and burned out. By october I was fed up, and decided to disenroll my kids after thanksgiving break. However, my family convinced me to stick it out until the end of the year. We never made it to the end of the year. My older son got C19 symptoms one friday at the end of the afterschool program, during the first week of december. He tested positive that weekend. I was informed on monday and we began quarantine that same day. I had just paid daycare fees for the current week and the upcoming week for both kids, in the form of a certified bank check, as I always do. When I found out they would be absent, I called the main office and asked the admin on duty, to have the payments set aside to cover the 2 weeks after they returned. There never seemed to be an issue. However, when I was about to return the kids to the daycare and asked for the payment status, the owner said that inspite of them being sick with c19, they applied the payments to the weeks they were sick and absent. I was shocked. I ended up in tears, trying my best to explain to the owner how harsh and unfair that was, as C19 is not something anyone plans for. The owner continued to be heartless and nasty, so I told her I was withdrawing my children as of that moment. Her exact words were "Bye, it's been real". I just told her I was not going to argue and that she should do as she please with the money, but we would never come back there again. That daycare and it's owner is a curse to families in the area. Please, please for your kids sake and your sanity, stay far far away. It's not worth the stress.

The Director Jasmine tried to cover her ass by saying we told them the wrong school when that was never the case ! She called and asked "what school does he go to" & never even informed us of what happened at first, we had to find out from the schools main office that's nowhere near the town we live ! Very very unacceptable & uncomfortable thing we went through today anything could've happened to my child he didn't know where he was or any of those people ! His correct school is on a HUGE tag hanging off his book bag & the correct school is also on the tons of paper work we just filed to enroll him? not to mention we were charged extra for travel because of your mistake ?! Just a terribly unfortunate situation which was handled very poorly, unprofessionally. My son is 5 yrs old btw who was excited to start this new daycare he's been at for not even a week & this is how he was treated ? I do not recommend this daycare please avoid at all cost !
