In particular, I've worked with Eric Chauvin on the purchase and sale of multiple properties, to screen tenants (several times) for rental properties, and worked with him on a fairly large-scale renovation. He is very knowledgeable in all areas of real estate and provides great advice. He is extremely responsive and truly cares about things getting done efficiently and accurately. He makes client satisfaction his top priority. I've worked with other members of the Penrose team as well and they did not disappoint. Their professionalism is second to none. I strongly recommend this firm for any real estate needs.

Unprofessional and rude agents…read more One of their real estate agents, Linda Gomez made a posting and stated that an apartment was available for rent at $2,000 a month. After I placed an offer that met the asking price, she came back and said, actually, no it's $2200 (+broker's fee, plus utilities). I then asked if utilities might then be included. Then she continued to rudely communicate via email basically saying I don't know what I'm talking about. Beware if you're using Penrose Realty as your broker to list apartments. They'll treat prospective tenants like trash and you'll lose prospective renters. And buyers/renters, work with someone else; these people are only after their broker's fee and don't deserve your business.

She found it in this. So we went with Rion rather than find a buying broker. Of course if we were going to buy a new place we had to sell our old place. and we decided we'd go with Rion for that as well He researched the market and told us what he thought the value was. We picked a number and cleared the condo we were living in enough to so Rion could have open houses (on two weekends it turned out) while we were vacationing in CA. By the time we got back we had an offer on our place. Rion worked with us while our bank slowly eked out its approval and kept us appraised. I highly recommend Rion Manita.

Jim is an experienced realtor in this arena and worked with me over many months to get this condo to sell. When it looked like the bank wasn't going to accept the buyer's offer, I made the decision to pull the condo out of the short sale and make up the difference. Jim was there, every step of the way - his patience and expertise were a real plus (I'm not always the easiest person to deal with). His response time to questions is phenomenal - often answered texts within a few minutes, and would always let me know his availability - never left me hanging. Buying/selling a house can be very stressful, but Jim is so on top of the market, he made it a positive experience for me. End result - the condo sold. Thanks Jim!

I contacted Shawn 3 years ago because he sold a condo in my building and I was hoping to get advice…read moreon selling mine. He was honest and let me know that the timing wasn't right since I wouldn't make any profit in the market at the time. We kept in touch over the years and he let me know that this year was the year to sell and boy was he right!! He advised me from beginning to end. My condo was sold with a cash offer in 6 weeks without needing to do any updates! His expertise about the market was invaluable from how to set up the condo, to having his photographer come in, to having an open house which drew in ~100 people that led to 3 solid offers. All of this was done by the way while I was out of state and I could only come to town once since I have a 7mth and 3yr old. Overall he's an awesome real estate agent and I would recommend him to others in a second! - Latoya Davis

When I met with Shawn, he laid out and presented his plan on how to properly put our home on the market. He detailed his strategy for getting the property ready, generating buzz for the property, bringing in serious buyers, and running a successful open house. Within days of the open house, thanks to his advice, we received multiple offers well above our list price! Throughout the whole process, Shawn guided us every step of the way to get our home sold. There was not one time I felt uneasy - Shawn was very proactive and was always there to answer any question I had. Words cannot describe the level of professionalism of Shawn and his team. One regret I do have is that we didn't find Shawn earlier to aid us in buying our previous home - there is no doubt that he would have been able to provide us with just as great of service! So do not let my regret be yours and DO consider Shawn and his team if you're looking to buy or sell your home. Thanks Shawn, it was great working with you.
