Mr. Sherman met with me for 45 minutes or so and explained what needed to be accomplished and the best way to do it. The price he quoted me was 1/3rd of the amount quoted by a recognized accounting firm. Mr. Sherman's office completed my aunt's final tax return, calculated and mailed out all 24 1099 forms for the beneficiaries and provided copies of everything to me. He provided an audit representation guarantee that I did not need - but was good to have as an assurance. I do my own taxes using tax software, but will definitely go to Mr. Sherman when I no longer can figure it out myself - and I am reaching that point! He has competent associates in his employ and I have no complaints.

I have worked in accounting field over 20 years and have worked with many outside CPA firms. You…read morewill know the difference once you work with her. Katherine was spectacular and extremely professional. Every time we have new issues, she does research and explain to us why. With her help, we even got the biggest refund trace back to couple years ago. Her research fee is much reasonable and competitive. Even with some complicated questions, she was able to quickly process and respond with thoughtful and complete responses. She always asks questions before making any adjustment to our books and make sure no misunderstanding. Not sure if anyone has works with big firm. They thought they know everything, without asking, they just went ahead making adjustment. That is just so annoying. Anyway, highly recommended!

After using her services since 2015, I'm glad to finally move on. If you're looking for a CPA, I recommend shopping around rather than automatically staying with the same provider. Tax preparation also does not necessarily have to be handled by a CPA. Depending on your needs, another qualified tax professional or bookkeeper may be able to assist, particularly if accounting or tax software has become too complicated. For those specifically looking for a CPA, I recommend checking the Nevada Society of CPAs' Find-a-CPA directory. One clarification regarding registered agents: a Nevada LLC or corporation must maintain a registered agent in Nevada even if you personally live in the state. However, if you meet Nevada's requirements, you may be able to serve as your own registered agent rather than paying for a commercial registered-agent service. In my case, I also had serious concerns about Katherine's conduct while she was serving as my registered agent. Based on my experience, I believe her actions unnecessarily put my interests at risk. I have retained documentation relating to what occurred and, if necessary, am prepared to address the matter through the appropriate legal process.

Eileen is quite simply, terrific. Period. You may not like her delivery, her decision-making…read moreprocess, or the manner in which she stays within the bounds of tax law. But when you need your taxes done, and done with your best interests in a professional and expeditions manner, Eileen is your gal. I was formerly with a CPA for over 40 years. He became nonresponsive, consistently late, and unbelievably unorganized. It got worse thru the years and I should of left at least 10 years earlier but I stayed. I had been there so long, I figured he knew me, knew my tax history, starting over would be a pain, etc. etc. It finally became too much, too late, I had enough. For the first time in years, I found myself looking for someone to assist with my taxes. I tried various CPA's, and obtaining an appointment was like pulling teeth. I came across Eileen, probably thru YELP, and began to do a bit of research about her. She was not a CPA. Would I be missing tax benefits if I didn't see a CPA? All in all, reviews for Eileen were stellar and I was losing patience with attempted appointment settings for CPA's hence, I contacted Eileen's office and set up a consultation. No nonsense here as she quickly told me what I can do, what I can't, what makes sense, and what in the world was this thing I called record keeping??? I didn't agree with none of it. In fact, I pretty much disagreed with everything she said. In order to get back on track, Eileen suggested I do A, B, C, and don't forget E, F, and G. She was patient, listened to my complaints, my disagreements, and my overall rational but calmly explained how and what needed to be done and most importantly, why. And yes, it was going to cost me. But it was honest, I felt good, and down deep, I knew I was in good hands. I could trust her and felt she not only knew what she was doing but had my best interests in mind. She explained strategies that would lessen financial tax burdens, what records I needed to maintain, how to effectively organize them, and what I needed to present to her so she could provide the best results possible. In other words, without me doing what I needed to do, how could she? I have grown possess a very healthy respect for Eileen and her overall demeanor and expertise. I have been with her for three years and fully intend to continue. I will still argue with her here and there but to me, she is a consummate professional that will get you back on track and make sure your taxes are in excellent shape. And she will tell you the truth. She is fair, price conscious, and exceptionally good at what she does. In addition, she has always made herself available whenever I had a financial question, tax question, or even seeking a referral for folks engaged in a variety of services. If you need a tax professional to represent your best interests, Eileen is the expert you are seeking. I only wish I had found her years ago. I was younger, stronger, and might of won an argument... Thank You Eileen!
