I got a good massage from this place however I thought it was odd they billed me first and then had me wait 45 minutes before getting my massage. I even called ahead and asked if I could schedule and they said no just walk in. After the massage I gave a cash tip to the same women who gave me the massage. She points to the sign saying "I gave you a good massage. Good massages deserve 25% tip!" Proceeds to pull out the receipt and hands me a pen to write the difference. I could not believe this. I called this place to ask what services they offered and to make an appointment. The lady was extremely mean and rude to the point that she made me cry. Horrible experience. Furthermore, I was still confused about what service options this place had. The woman who answered the phone was impatient, aggressive, and not willing to explain. In addition, she seemed very busy. Now, I understand if she's busy. However, from the get-go, her tone was not great and she was very angry. I don't mind waiting or calling back when there's a better time. My mom and I came in for a couples massage. The massages felt great and they got a lot of our knots out. Unfortunately, the two ladies giving us massages were the only people working so they came in and out over 6 times throughout our hour to answer the door or their cell phones. My biggest complaint is that I said I had a bad ankle over 3 times, and she didn't treat it more gentle and ended up screwing it up really bad. EXCELLENT SELF CARE STOP!! The ladies are so nice and sweet there and they massage great like they know what areas are bothering you! The pricing is very competitive and the facility is nice and clean! I left feeling refreshed and looking forward to going there regularly! The hour massage I recieved at 5-Star was one of the best I've ever had!! The lady was thorough, with strong hands, and energetic. Worked hard going after the sore areas I have with my hip joints and legs. I think it's quite normal to experience some of the interuptions that Barbara B. spoke about in her review. Because nobody can control the next customer's schedule to walk in or calls from other customers. So you'll never expect them to lock the door, turn off the sign or unplug the phone while they working on a customer unless she is a queen! Why the beef at a massage spa? These people work very hard and try to please every customer. It's obvious that we should be more tolerant of their difficult English and occasional shortcomings. I was given a 60.00 gift certificate so I went for a 1 hour massage March 18 1. the girl was not friendly 2.during the massage she left the room because someone came in the front door 3.she reentered the room to get her cell phone 4.she left the door slightly opened as she went in and out 5.she talked with the customer who had no appointment, put him in the room next to mine 6. she called someone on her cell phone (i couldn't understand the language),I assumed it was to come in to massage the man in room next to me 7. she comes in and continues my massage 8.the front door opens again (bells on the door), this time she doesn't leave the room, she just talks to the person entering( in her language ) loudly...obviously letting her know she had a client in the next room 9. i hear the whole conversation between the massage therapist and her customer....about his back ..yada.. yada ..yada... 10. as my massage continued,,she left again,,,to get the warm rocks for my massage ..that was the best part of the worst hour massage EVER !!! to sum it up..she left the room 3 times..talked loud enough to carry a conversation with the other girl out in the lobby....and to make a phone call..... I did question her , but she pretended not to understand me.....I should have walked out...was just so bizarre !!! also..the interruptions were all part of the hour massage,,so i believe the actual massage was 45 min at max I laid my gift certificate on the counter...and walked out...NEVER to return !!!! My thoughts would be...if only one person is working, the front door should be locked , laying on a massage table as customers walk in, and the massagae therapist walks in and out of the room, leaves you feeling very vulnerable ,,and very unrelaxed to say the least !!!! read more

Went in for a Mother's Day treat from my husband. I had a $50 gift certificate for a 1 hour massage. As soon as I walked in I gave the guy at the desk my gift certificate and I noticed he could barely speak English as well as the rest of the staff. From what I understood he was asking me if I wanted to pay an extra $20 for 90 minutes. When my session needed the staff rudely asked me for payment when I politely told them I had a gift certificate, they looked confused and didn't understand what I was saying at all. I saw a gift certificate taped on the desk and numerously pointed out this is what I had and then both of the women's attitude changed. This was the best massage ever and the staff was very friendly and polite. Both my daughter and I had the 60 minute foot massage and the treatment exceeded our expectation and we get massages on a regular basis. We are visiting from california and I highly recommend this place to everyone and the pricing was reasonable especially for what they offer.
