It had been 5 years since my last sprinkler tune-up. Things break and landscape grows. 5Star scheduled me, kept me informed of any changes and showed up on time. They did all the work professionally. And they charged a fair price. Excellent work, professional crew and good customer service. read more

Called Five Star to fix a leaking sprinkler head. One guy showed up, dug a hole and then said he had to leave but would be back with others. Four o'clock and never showed, Called the company and they said he went home sick but someone woulld be there tomorrow. A guy named Bill showed up, He dug a whole and found a leak. He also pointed out another head that was leaking. Instead of replacing the lines, he said he would by pass the original lines and install a new line and 4 heads. This was going to be cheaper he said. Bill worked by himself and sat in his truck most of the day. he finally installed the line, but could not trace the original leak and began suggesting what he thought were ideas through "trial and error." I asked Bill how much this was going to cost. He quoted a price of $3000.00 and said it would be even higher becasue he had yet to solve the issue through his "trial and error." What was originally stated as a simple head replacement was nothing more than an attempt to make a small job more profitable. I told Bill that there was no way I would pay over $3000.00. At that rate Bill was working for $400.00 per hour. In his mind he is the world's most special sprinkler repair person. The job was probably worth less than $1000.00. He told me the price was per job and not by labor or parts. Parts used was less than $100.00 I would never use or recommend this company to anyone. Very poor business practice. read more

Very nice guys, but they were extremely expensive. Had two new heads, had 4 heads moved. Told them that was it but my bill was over 1000.00. They said I agreed to two misters, idk. I wanted to discuss and he said he didn't want to work Saturday so never gave me a good time to discuss this. 4 guys were here which was not needed. When I got the bill, I was very surprised. The service fee was not waive once they were hired to do the job. They took it upon themselves to move a head I didn't request. Thank goodness I noticed and made them move it back. It was hittimy pvc fence. read more

I want to thank Mark, the owner of this business, his son etc. for being super people. We had some miscommunication during our repairs, but in the end, Mark and his team went above and beyond to meet and exceed our expectations. I can honestly say, this is a company you can trust for Irrigation system repairs. Mark does business the way I do business. He shows up, stands by his team and his products and most importantly, isn't satisified until the customer is satisfied. Thank you Mark for bringing customer service to such a high level. read more

I called several Irrigation companies, Five Star came out after a few weeks. I explained I had a pressure and zone issue on one side of my home. The charge $35.00 for inspection looking at spray coverage etc. I said let go ahead and fix the sprinklers and replace any heads if needed. The first bill I was handed was the $35.00 for inspection. A few minutes later I was handed a bill for $990.00 and a third bill for $690.00. I'm sure I have great sprinkler heads and there adjusted correctly but WOW the Total was then $1,680.00. Itemized bills are included. At the end of the less than two hours of work, we notice the valve that changes from zone to zone was sticking. So, as they were jumping into their trucks to leave I was given the last bill for $398.00 to fix the valve if I wanted that done today. I opted out at this point, as likely my original problem and why I had called them in the first place. The price was a shocker and likely does not address the original problem as explained before, during, as they were leaving. I'm noticing there aren't many 5 star rating for 2019 - 2020. But there is one other recent review that is also stating the pricey cost. read more

UPDATE: The owner, Mark reached out to me and he has absolutely made everything right after hearing what happened. I really appreciate the fact that he personally came to my house and determined what went wrong and took immediate corrective actions. Turns out it was a miscommunication between the workers at the house, Mark (the owner) and me. Seeing a local business actually take the time and effort to make the customer happy is all you can ask for. So, I gladly will recommend them to others and I will ensure I only call 5 Star Irrigation for any of my needs read more

If you are looking for anything to do with irrigation look no further than Five Star. They provide phenomenal service and we could not be happier! We were blown away by their professionalism, friendliness and great work. We had two zones capped on our irrigation system for the installation of a pool. When the company that did the capping failed to show up on several occasions to redo the two zones we contacted Five Star based on their great ratings and the ratings were correct. They came right out after we contacted them for an estimate and showed up on time (which is a pretty big deal in Florida). They immediately started marking areas to make sure we have full coverage and Mark quickly gave us a printed out estimate. They also recommended some additions to our current system since they found areas where we lacked coverage. We agreed to the work and they started the project immediately. The entire crew was very friendly and they take pride in the great work that they do. We needed our back yard, side yard and a new garden area around the pool piped. The whole project was done in under two hours. They went over everything with us and everything came out great. This is by far the best company that we have dealt with since we moved here and the easiest to deal with. We still can't believe that they started work immediately and were done so quickly. We highly recommend Five Star Irrigation! read more

I had a problem and was unable to get a response from my first choice to fix my irrigation issues. I found 5 Star Irrigation on the web and contacted them. Within an hour I received a response and scheduled an estimate for a few hours later. They showed up on time, found the main problem and proceeded to inspect the entire system. They identified a number of problems or potential issues and proposed a revamp of the entire system. I agreed and they came the next day (once again on time), and completed their work in about 2 hours. They cleaned everything up, did not leave a mess and were very efficient and professional. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them. Terry W. read more

I called for system repair and adjustments. They referred Bill Conova a guy who does business for them where I live. He showed up a few days later and quotes me $1,500 for repairs to pump and new heads and coverage adjustments. Seemed expensive but I wanted it done so I paid. He did about 70% of the work he said he would do, which I found out later. Within 24 hours it was clear I was taken advantage off. I called him and he now said it would take three weeks to get to me. I waited three weeks and then called him for an ETA. After three phone calls and three texts he never called me back. I then took the project on myself and realized he burnt out my pump which I replaced at $800, replaced three sprinkler heads, and worst was he cracked a solenoid bonnet in the manifold. I had to order from manufacturer CA because no one sold it locally. He put in a starter from timer to pump and left it sitting on the ground when it was to be fastened to the house. Sloppy and lazy. He was a scammer and totally took advantage of me. Charged me $35 each for a 18 heads $20 for each gear drivers which he said he did 4 and $50 for one solenoid. He maybe replaced 5 heads. Not sure about the other stuff. Be these were 3 times the cost. I paid for labor on top of this. I then called back Five Stars to give them a heads up so they would stop referring him. The person who answered said he would have the owner call me to discuss. He never called me as well. So as I see it they are partners in crime and don't care about providing good service just getting your money. Stay away from this company. read more

Overpriced and deceptive business practices. If you see them coming run away. Their cost to repair our current system was higher than a new installation. read more

I called 5-Star to repair the sprinkler system at my home and to assess an issue with an entire zone that did not appear to be connected at all and to complete substantial repairs on the remainder of the system. The initial repairs were done and, although I initially had a concern about follow up to complete the remainder of the work the owner, Mark, responded to my concerns and wanted to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction, promptly. I own a small business and know that, problems and issues happen. It's how the business responds that makes the difference. read more

Very knowledgeable and professional. Mark (the owner) was straight to the point, he identified the problem and quoted a repair on the spot. He even quoted his recommended services. Which were mostly replacing sprinklers. He was not pushy. I was quite surprised at the rates he quoted. 10 sprinklers replaced at $35 a piece=$350 plus $165 in labor. Over $500 total. I made sure that I clarified the labor was for twisting the "bad" sprinklers off and twisting in the new sprinklers. I ended up just paying for just the repair I called for. The total was $180 for their 45 minutes of total time. Judging by his quote for the other "services", I probably paid too much.. read more

While installing/repairing the neighbors sprinklers, 5 Star cut cable to my internet/tv/phone. When called, a man said "these things happen, call your cable provider, and offered No Apology. I have not had service for 11 days and counting. 5 Star should take precautions and also apologize for others inconvenience. I am certain his business would be affected without phone/internet service. read more

Very over priced. Charged $58.00 plus labor for a $10.00 item. Charged $469.00 for $40.00 parts. Then they wanted another $500 to replace 5 sprinkler heads and control panel. I understand labor is high, but to mark up parts so much and then add high labor costs just is greedy. I am sure their price is lower than what a consumer pays for parts, too. I called another company and they charged half and actually fixed the whole system. Call Sunrise Irrigation instead. Cape Coral, Florida. read more

I would recommend Five Star Irrigation to everybody. The customer service is wonderful. After a family members passing away a few years ago, the home in Cape Coral was in need of some attention, and so was the sprinkler system. With only a few days to get everything in order and fixed before I went back North, I contacted Five Star expecting to be told they wouldn't be able to help me in such a short timeframe. To my surprise, Mark from Five Star said he could help after explaining my situation. Mark and his crew from Five Star were there within two days and quickly diagnosed the problems. In two hours time, the Five Star crew replaced two bad zone valves, a number of bad sprinkler heads, and had everything adjusted for complete yard coverage. A big thanks to Mark and his Five Star crew for going above and beyond at a difficult time!! read more

These guys are the best. We just moved to Florida from Michigan and had an inspection on our home. Eagle Eye inspection did a every bad job and our underground sprinkler system was shot so we called Five Star Irrigation Services and they came out spoke to us for a few minutes and went to work. I was amazed at the work they did in a very short amount of time and the quality of work is out of this world wonderful. All the guys work very hard and fast finding the problems, fixing them, and very courteous They answered all of our questions. We called them to come back due to another contractors mistake and they fixed it no charge, can't get any better than that. If you need help with irrigation, PLEASE call this company. After weeks of trying to get various other irrigation services out to assess my sprinkler system, Five Star Irrigation Services came out....SAME DAY!!!! They evaluated the system, diagnosed the problem and were able to fit getting my job done into their very busy schedule! I just love when a company does exactly what they say they are going to do! I asked Mark Bouren to check my sprinkler system. He said he would be out between 10 and 2, and would call 20 minutes ahead of his arrival. He called at ten minutes before 10 and was here right on time. He assessed my system, explained in detail what the problems were and proposed solutions to fix them. He provided a computer generated estimate with options, and then proceeded with the repairs on the spot. He even provided options that enhanced my existing system. I have finally found an irrigation service company that I trust and will call again in the future for maintenance and any necessary repairs. Thank you, Mark! read more

OMG!!! These guys are AMAZING!!! Super professional, extremely hard working, very nice and easy to work with. My husband and I bought a fixer upper in Fort Myers about a year ago and put off fixing the irrigation system because we thought it would be too big of a project and cost way too much. Well, today they showed up at 2:15pm and fixed what needed to be fixed, got our pump back up and working, replaced all the sprinkler heads (19) and they just finished up and its 6:00pm!!!!! I mean ...WHO works that fast!!!!! ANNNND the price was very reasonable. They even let me do an interest free payment plan!!! We didn't need to replace the pump which I would imagine it could be easy for companies to say you'd need to replace it to make more money...but not these guys!!! Anyways - if you need an irrigation system call Five Star!!!!! You'll be so glad you did!!! Now, I'm going to pour myself a glass of wine and go sit on my lanai and watch my lawn get watered ;) read more
