Whether I am picking up quick snacks, daily essentials, or dropping off a FedEx parcel, the experience is seamless. What truly sets this store apart, though, is the exceptional staff. Having such a reliable, accessible shop right here in the community makes daily errands so much easier. I highly recommend supporting this fantastic local business--five stars all the way!

The staff there was friendly and helped me with my package and I was on my merry way. It also left me wondering how this store is able to be in business given this location is probably more convenient if people have cars and there are many grocery stores nearby that offer more products. So I don't know if they attract many people for just snacks and junk food. I suppose they also have a lottery machine here too. They open quite late on the weekdays so it's convenient to pick up a package at a flexible time. Holding period is only 5 days though.

My family and I have been coming here for years. Here's what I like about Priya's - they have all…read moresorts of Indian food, much of which you can't get from the local grocery store, even if your local grocery store has an Indian food section. Their prices are decent. Can't say they're Brampton-cheap, but it's cheaper than me getting in a car and driving to Brampton. I've never understood why non-Indians purchase their spices from anywhere but an Indian grocery store since the quality and turnover is so high at an Indian store compared to the local grocery store. Here are some tasty things I've bought lately from Priya's: - multiple different types of ready-made frozen Patra across different brands (local grocery store might have upto 2, this place has at least 4) - frozen masala idly - frozen khaman (local grocery store might have dhokla, but not khaman) - real imli / tamarind chutney from India (they have local brands, but the local brands put dates and/or tomatoes in the chutney. The Indian brand uses only tamarind and spices) - spinach and paneer-stuffed samosas (I've tried the brands you can get at the local store but the one that's sold only here is my favorite so far) - tamarind candy (if this stuff was sold at whole foods, it would be going for at least 4 times the price since the ingredients are tamarind, sugar, salt, chilli) - Indian mangoes (they're not cheap but they're cheaper than Whole Foods and a heck of lot tastier. You haven't lived if you've never tried an Indian-variety mango). Priya's also has almond and coconut oil that you can use for cooking or to moisturize your hair/body. I always get compliments on my hair even though I'm in the pool most days and I think it's because I use Indian oil to moisture that my hair is in good shape. Priya's has the powdered curry mixes, dals, etc. but I'm not into powdered mixes. They do have vegetarian jello which is great for kids or anyone who is going to have surgery and doesn't want to eat anything heavy. I recommend that before purchasing items you look at the place of origin of the item and if it has an expiry date. I have personal issues with purchasing food products from China, Pakistan, and the Middle East since there have been many food scandals associated with such products. I'm fine with product from India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and South Korea since I believe it's less likely that a corrupt food company could get away with shipping adulterated food. Again, it's up to you and your preferences as to what food purchases you want to make. FYI, read the labels for salt and sugar content if you want to manage those items. Some items have less and some have more. Drop by Priya's for some pre-made frozen foods; they're better than those sold in many restaurants or prepared food stores. I believe credit cards are accepted with a minimum $10 or $20 purchase.

I remembered this store on the northeast corner of Kennedy Road and Finch Avenue. I had never been there. It was time to pay it a visit. I drove down Kennedy Road after having seen my dentist. I made a left-hand turn into the Esso station. All parking spots in front of Circle K were occupied, except for the spot for those with an accessibility parking pass. Instead, I pulled off to the side, closest to the gas station sign on Finch Avenue. I then walked over. This store is large. It has a lot of products to absorb. I saw Atypique non-alcoholic cocktails. I can see myself cracking one open as I start a road trip because I want to feel fancy... haha! Tim Hortons is at the back when you first walk in and stare ahead. To the right of it are the Polar Pop and Froster machines. The payment area is on the left. This store was doing steady business, which was nice to see. I got AriZona teas. I like that there was fruit punch and mango. I typically get green tea and watermelon. I welcomed the change. I also needed peanuts. I found them where you enter the lineup to pay for your items. The man at the counter was friendly and he anticipated that I had coupons. "Ah, Rock, Paper, and Scissors (game) is back!" he said. "Yes, I'm happy!" I exclaimed with perhaps too much enthusiasm. He asked me if I needed a bag. I was okay saving one and carrying my stuff to my car. I scanned my coupon barcodes. I then scanned my PC Optimum barcode and paid with my debit card. He thanked me and wished me a great day. I reciprocated. It's nice that my fridge looks like a mini Circle K store again. I can't wait to try the mango drink later on today. I like this store equally as much as the one on Steeles Avenue East, across from Walmart. Distance-wise, they are pretty close to being equidistant from my home. I can't go wrong either way. I like the products here. Service is excellent, too. (194)
