Waited twenty minutes and was ready to leave when they said someone would take care of me. If someone is coming for the first time to your establishment, the least you could do is try and do a better job of correcting the situation immediately as an owner. read more

The only reason I'm giving a 1 star is because of all the problems that happened . I pre paied and booked an appointment for my husband and son . I paied for an $83 signature service for my husband that included a drink , and a bunch of other stuff and a regular $25 cut for my son . It was a gift for my husband since he never gets to pamper himself . Welp he only got a regular cut that's it and on top of that they made him pay FOR A HAIRCUT AT THE END EVEN THOUGH HE EXPLAINED THAT I HAD ALREADY PAIED . I went back in and asked for a refund for what he had just paied . Which they fixed no problem ok cool . But then I find out all he got done was a haircut and beard nothing else just the cut . No drink no nothing else .... He didn't even get the luxury service I paied for ...Words cannot describe how upset I am because he works so hard and I just wanted him to be pampered but the workers cannot even bother look to see what service they should be doing before even doing it . The haircuts were great and the barbers were nice too ...but it's all the other stuff that made me not want to bring either of them back . I called and called but by then it was too late and they weren't answering the phone I would definitely go back but only after this were to get fixed . Well I was recommended by a friend to bring my 2 boys in for some haircuts & it definitely was not what I expected... The place is very beautiful and clean from the start! We were greeted by a barber named Richard that ended up doing both haircuts for my kids and he was AMAZING. Nice, funny, easy going, and talented because the boys were very happy with the cuts! I cant say enough good things about the place. They were able to fix my hair after going to that dump "Gent's". Go take a look at that review. Hunter fixed my hair and did an excellent job. They have specials and you can book appointments. There are a lot of TVs and a pool table. Im telling all my friends and family. I hope they stay in business for a long time. They are professional and they state their business name when you answer. They dont just say "hello" like some places do. They were able to take me as a walk in. The cut was 18 and I left a 9 for a tip for their help and courtesy. If I noticed it was only 9, I would of left more. Give 5 Star a try. read more

It doesn't matter if your lineup is looking bunk, hair grows in all different directions(like me) or that neck is hella fuzzy, this is the place to be. Shorty and Hunter are my go-to's for myself and son, their skills and professionalism speak for themselves, fades are untouchable! It has gotten to the point where I can just hop in the chair, give them complete creative freedom and have never been disappointed or asked to touch up those pesky hairs right above your ear. So many premium options as well: Eyebrows, face masks, hot shave, hair wash etc. Shop is organized and clean, styling products and merchandise for sale up front, comfortable waiting area, kids area, clean restrooms, pool table, specials via text and occasionally have customer appreciation days. Anybody who doesn't get their hair cut at a $9 paisa spot knows what this means... frosty beer! Maybe when California's restrictions ease up we'll be able to enjoy that cold one. read more

First time here. This place is new. 2 weeks old. It's in the same plaza as Chuze gym. Plenty of parking. The barber shop itself is pretty nice & spacious. Nice design, nice decor, they have a pool table, TV's all around, good sound system, everything is new, nice & clean. They have a tablet that you sign in and choose what kinda cut you want and you can add extras like eyebrows, face mask or whatever. Your name pops up and the screen in order and tells you how many people are ahead of you. They've got 8 total chairs for barbers. The employees all seem cool, J.R welcomed me and showed me the ropes and explained how things work. It's pretty modern. Now just sitting waiting for my turn. Five Star Barber is above what I know most shops have to offer. The location is open, clean, and the atmosphere is one of the many reasons I'll be coming back. They have a billiards table so if you don't have an appointment you can definitely get in a couple of games and then before you know it you're getting a cut from one of the many experienced staff members available. This shop is a very welcoming community, fun, friendly, and most importantly very attentive. These barbers are a very top quality selection of barbers and artists. Fades, lineups, hard parts, designs, you name it they can do it. So if you're looking for a shop that's got high quality barbers and a nice lounge to kick it with your friends, this is it. In my opinion if you have a barber that you end up really enjoying your cut with, use the appointment system. It's easy, they send out reminders, and they really take care of you in the most professional manner. Personally I've been going to Shorty for over 6yrs (I travel out of state for this cut) and this is by far one of the nicest shops iv ever been in. In fact I can't really name a nicer shop.
