Money from large donations were put into sprucing up the common areas to attract new tenants. You are offered an inadequate continental breakfast 5 mornings a week. My loved one has been eating the same oatmeal and a half a bagel for years. There is a charge for eggs or pancakes. You also receive only 2 free dinners a month offered Monday through Thursday only. Kitchen help and food is from a Kosher Catering off sight service. My loved one has experienced abusive treatment by one of their servers twice. It was reported and this server remains employed. Food is very expensive and hit or miss. For what they charge you can do much much better elsewhere.

And when I asked Alexis (who thinks she is better then everyone else..worst customer service in my entire life) she spoke down to me. I own a business and would never have someone like her working for me. Months prior to all of this happening I had called and asked about a one bedroom and Alexis told me verbatim ..they had no one bedrooms available and Knollwood doesn't like to "downgrade" people. I later found out there were 2 one bedroom apartments available. I am now glad she forced me out, I bought a beautiful condo. I will detour anyone from moving into that complex.

Said that would be fixed. Still not fixed. My tub was glazed yesterday they said the stuff would be taken off and the shower heads would be put back on today. They also have mold gardens in beautiful hues of green, blue and black. You can entertain your guests by showing off the holes of missing drywall from unrepaired leaks. Who doesn't like gaping holes in their kitchens and bedrooms! No worries if you've been on the fence about getting a pet, Beacon Hill provides all sorts of creatures for you. Here you'll have your choice of a colony of mice, infestations of spiders and even cuddly cockroaches once your walls are saturated enough to attract them in. Maintenance is a dream, they note it in their app that they've come over but apparently they don't know how to actually find their way over. You'll never know if they actually came over even if they do but no worries, they will stop on by 3 times and never actually fix anything and close your ticket. If your teen daughter isn't giving you enough grief they will gladly walk right in while she's in her pajamas and you'll get an ear full of teenage angst. If you're super lucky you'll enjoy your days off work waiting for them to pull no shows repeatedly. The management will bring back the memories of your highschool days, you'll be witness to arguments with the logic of a child, bullying and lies. If you've always dreamed of being gaslit they provide it free of charge. What isn't free are the made up rules and fees the manager will start making up when she's angry that you won't allow them to use chemicals in your apartment with you and your children present that are only supposed to be used in vacant sealed off spaces. She will get even more aggressive when you provide her with the safety data sheets and instructions for use. She definitely doesn't like to be questioned but fear not your emails to her boss will go unanswered! Beacon Hill, Oakland County's luxury projects, 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

I just moved into this apartment complex after selling my house in July. I was nervous about…read morerenting, as I have not rented in 20 years. The manager, Tene, made me feel right at home and made the process easy. She was patient with me getting paperwork into her both prior to, and after, the move into my new apartment. She goes above and beyond. The maintenance crew has also been great, immediately fixing anything I needed them to fix. I also love that this apartment complex is quiet and well patrolled by Auburn Hills PD.

We turned in a paper listing those damages when we moved in. They also withheld our security deposit because we forgot to turn in our keys. It clearly states in the lease the ONLY charge for the keys should be $100 per key and nothing else. They charged us another month of rent because they "couldn't rent the apartment out to anyone else because they didn't have the keys" which is a lie because they are legally obligated to change the locks after a tenant moves out to security purposes. They sent us a bill in the mail of all these incorrect charges causing them to withhold our security deposit and 7 days to dispute the charges. I didn't get the letter until 10 days after it was sent out because I live in North Carolina now. They sent the letter to my mom who also lives in North Carolina so it took 5 days to get to her, then a few days to get to me as soon as she received the letter. They said we owed them $3000 and withholding our security deposit took our final bill down to $1300 which is absolutely insane. If I would've received that letter sooner, I would've sued the absolute fuck out of them. If you decide to live here, keep proof and copies of everything and every document and MAKE SURE you put in maintenance requests for everything individually that's already damaged when you move in. Cover your ass. This company is disgusting.

The office has a hard time getting back with you regarding issues with the property, the snow…read moreremoval is a JOKE my sister has been trying to get them to shovel out the walkway in front of her building for 2 days, she's handicapped and can't get out, the last time she got stuck in the snow, she could have frozen to death, whe calling the office they say they're working on it, if you have a 3rd party removing snow & they haven't come out in 2 days then someone from maintenance should be out shoveling the walkways, there is NO EXCUSE for the residents NOT to be able to get out of their apartments. What if there is a fire, then what?

We have lived here since last June and have had problems with our AC since we moved in and the…read moremanager just closed and locked when my husband was walking down to talk to them face to face after a week of me calling trying to get them to fix our AC unit. My husband is a retired Veteran and done his time you'd think they keep a disabled veterans house cooled and not make him sleep in 75-80 discomfort in our unit. Thank you for showing how much you don't care about your tenants or vets. **** update went and talked to the manager this morning 4/40/18 9:45am I didn't think it was possible to look more disgusted by the fact that my husband is a disabled veteran but this lady did. My son has actual physical health problems and has been hospitalized by heat related medical issues which I have informed her of and she informed us that it is 50 degrees outside and that I understand but it is 75-80 in our apartment which fans and windows are not helping. She has said maintenance has been to our apartment which is a lie as we have been here all week and weekend. Also I have my phone by me and nobody has called me. I do online home schooling with my kids through the state and my 17 yr old is home when I am not ready to let mainetence in. So let's see poor communication with tenants and ignoring tenants phone calls. Claiming maintenance is by the apartment even when tenants are home. Blocks tenants from Facebook page because of bad reviews and gets mad about them. Btw Management I will be reporting you to the news if my son gets sick and in the hospital because of the 80 degree temperatures coming this week which would put inside our apartment at 85-90. ******update 2pm and maintenance has charged the AC but I have yet to receive a call back from management as to why our AC does not hold a charge and if they will be doing a full repair on the AC to our unit instead of just a patch job. I have called several times and left a voicemail and have been waiting since lunch for a callback.
