I had surgery two weeks ago and needed my bandages changed, I needed to do this every third day and the Dr's were happy to do this. On this particular day the receptionist Maria and I quote 'if your having bandages replaced you cannot see a doctor'. After speaking with my surgeon, he was baffled and bewildered as to why I was refused medical help. My wife then drove me to Victoria Tower Medical Centre in Burwood, the receptionist had no problem to allow the Dr to change my bandages.
On another occasion my wife was not well last week and needed reception to fax a prescription to the chemist. The chemist would then receive a blank fax or the back of the prescription, after three times advising Maria to resend the faxes, she would get abrupt and was quite rude. It's not my fault if she is incapable of sending a fax. The Dr's at Five Dock medical centre are great, they are professional and have high standards. read more
