Not only are there fewer registers to service the different departments but the recently added self checkout machines don't even work most of the time. There are also fewer price check stations, and the mens shoe dept is in desperate need of some TLC because boxes of shoes are mismatched and disorganized. The one saving grace for Macys that keeps me coming back is their Star Rewards program. They do a great job of offering deals at 15%-25% off regular priced and sale merchandise and even sent me an extra 30% off coupon for my birthday, and when I get to redeem my Star Rewards points it's like cashing in on even deeper savings.

With online shopping being so cheap, it's hard for retailers like this to survive. But there will always be a demand for in person shopping, so I am hopeful. This place is dated!!! And the only thing modern here is the makeup which is a 3rd party company. The rest of it just looks dated and falling apart. It's not as well kept up as it used to be. There are a few floating cash registers that used to be plugged in, but now they lie there dormant. The employees that do come around, just mainly do stock, and don't do a great job with cleaning up. They do have great prices! But the selection is decently limited. I do hope this makes a come back!
