First thing you note is that ALL the character of the place has been removed by replacing original pub sign etc has been replaced with generic, plain white lettering on a maroon backdrop plastic looking signs. Second they seem to have changed it from a pub (translation for my US buddies - bar) to a very ordinary restaurant. The food was DREADFUL. Normally I would have rammed it down the waitresses throat but with family around I swallowed it (my anger not the food). I ordered bangers and mash - Surely no-one can make a dry nasty English banger?! Oh these guys can - and the nasty luke warm gravy crap? And the sausages were basically burnt so much that I thought my teeth would crack when I TRIED to eat one. I think from all eaty places in Letchworth this is the one you should visit as it is a truely lovely place. Just make sure to book if you need a babyseat.
