After having dealt with Aaron (the owner) I genuinely wish my now husband & I had gone with just…read moreabout any other venue. He seems kind & willing to work with you, until you sign his contract (careful, what you sign says you agree to a full contract you literally will not see until AFTER you sign it). Once we signed it, he was VERY different, rude & unwilling to help us or do what we wanted/asked. We were married at the peak of Covid & had a LOT of out of town guests. We asked repeatedly to postpone our May 16 wedding & Aaron was insistent that he knew more than literally everything being reported to the public. He refused to let us reschedule our wedding until April 30. So we had 2 weeks' notice to let all of our guests know to reschedule flights & travel plans. It was chaos. We grew tired of his "know it all" attitude, giving no consideration to the bride & groom paying him plenty of money for his venue, and flat out asked for a refund. He told us he doesn't do refunds. He gave us 3 dates to reschedule our wedding, none of which were in peak season, which was what we planned for. He wanted me to reschedule my SPRING wedding, everything already purchased, to January, which would have conflicted with all of our decor. He ended up offering an August date, saying we couldn't reschedule to the following May because he "has to keep those open for other brides or he loses more money." Our DJ got Covid & he recommended another. After meeting with the DJ, I felt like he wasn't energetic & interactive like I really wanted, so I mentioned it to another of his workers. He called me & swore to me that DJ would be great.....he was awful. Several events on my wedding night that were supposed to happen, didn't. I also mentioned to another bride in a local brides group that we were having issues with our venue owner & mentioned a few of said issues. She asked what venue & I told her Bellissima. I then received a phone call, which I recorded, from Aaron telling me that if I bad mouth him or his venue, he can cancel my wedding, WITHOUT a refund, at any point in time for any reason, per his "contract." The day of coordinator is a joke. She only did one thing I actually asked of her day of. I did tell her beforehand that I did not want Aaron being there on my wedding day, as that was a sure fire way to ruin my day. Luckily, he didn't show. We still regret ever using this venue & hope other brides will be saved from the same frustrations we dealt with. It's a beautiful venue, but dealing with Aaron is not worth it. There are plenty of better venues that are just as beautiful, without dealing with someone like this.
