Sandy was prompt and in 5 minutes had given me a quote and offered to the work right there on the spot. Insanely knowledgeable and adept at negotiating 1955, no code circuit layouts into a safe and highly functional configuration. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandy to my friends and family. After seeing some of the reviews, I have to comment on one. I'm a big fan of Yelp and reviewed over 400 businesses on 4 continents. The reviews I right are important to me as I rely on your judgement when I travel and am looking for the right place. Lindsay A. unfortunately gives us all a bad name. While I do not know her, I'm shocked to see 5 single star reviews from someone who only had 24 reviews. Hopefully she seeks some help to deal with her anger issues and please do not let it impact your thought of hiring Sandy.

I see it had not been serviced for over 6 months even though the previous owners had an ongoing contract. During the big March '26 storm of course it failed to work. I had to call another repair service to get it working. I called Knight again recently 2x no call back. Lame company who had their stickers all over the generator and in the basement. No more stickers here now. They only want BIG money for new installs. What a horrible company with a nasty woman/girl who answers the phone. You can do better Knight but you will not bc for you it is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY NOT YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shame on you.

So I wanted a local electrician to come out to figure it out and fix. I wanted an actual local electrician not some company 2 hours away that pops up at the top of the list just because they want to start providing "service" in the area. (Found that out when trying to find a "local" deck builder a few years ago via Yelp). Anyhow, I called Ed, explained the problem, he had me check a few things, and pretty much identified the problem over the phone. He said he was on another job at the moment and would get back to me later in the day. Unlike many of the other services I've reached out to on Yelp lately, he actually followed through and came by late afternoon. Within about 10 to 15 minutes he found a short in an outlet and fixed the problem. I will not hesitate to contact Ed again for all my electrical needs!
