On the good side: - friendly staff who answers your questions and show you exercises - open 24 hours a day - modern machines - different sections (the free weight section where most bodybuilders are is separated from the rest) - free parking On the negative side: - from 18:00 to 20:00 it is very very full, but that is true for most gyms - on the upper floors it can get warm, but it got a lot better after the works they did recently - they only offer a 1-year membership and no trial training All in all I would recommend this gym to everybody who knows a bit what they are doing and don't need a trainer for every exercise

To anyone who complains that it gets busy during peak times I say, yes, but where DOESN'T it get busy during peak times? That's just the nature of peak times, and this place doesn't seem to be any worse. There are enough cardio and weights machines for everyone. The dumbbell situation is no worse than at any other gym, but they just got nice new ones, so that's a bonus. They have a nice warm-up/calisthenics area off to the side, and I've even noticed (though obviously not gone into) a hidden women's corner, I guess where the ladies can work with the lighter free weights without guys around. The only place where they really need improvement is the squatting racks. They only have three, and for a gym this size, they really should have at least one more. It would also be nice if the squat racks were in front of the mirrors instead of the Smith machines. That just makes no sense. I can't speak to the showers because I live close enough that I can just shower at home, but I understand that you need to pay 50 cents for a towel and something similar for shower use. Hey, at €16 per month, this place is still a steal. I'm a fan.

And here I was thinking that Sunday was supposed to be the "day of rest" ;). In any event, the gym space was adequate, the machines looked well maintained, and the area was not too crowded. If I could give them one suggestion, it would be to alternate TVs with actual TV shows and the other TVs with whatever McFit thing they were playing today. I did not use the shower facilities this time, but I'm sure if they are anything like the rest of the gym, they are equally as adequate. I'm looking forward to get my beach bod on!

If you are thinking about joining a fitness studio in…read moreFreising, where you feel respect and well treated, then this is not the gym for you. I went there in the end of March because I really wanted to started working out ASAP and the guy who talked with me said that I had to make an appointment in order to be explained the different options/packs. I said that I knew what I wanted and that was to join and start the next day. Impossible, no one starts without the appointment. And the next free appointment was in 8 days. I then explained that I could only join for 2 months, so a week was precious time to waste. He said that he would put a note and if someone would drop off in the meanwhile, they would give me a ring. I asked him about the prices I had been made a very generous offer in another gym but I didn't want to decide before knowing if there they could give me a better price. I made it very clear that I want to go do the classes and use the regular machines and the guy said that for that it would be between 30 and 40Eur, maximum. I thought that was to good to be true and I insisted again that I was only wanting to join for 2 months and not for a longer contract and he said that for sure it wasn't more then 40Eur. Two days later I decided to ring there, just to make sure that the note had not been forgotten and to double check the price. I was then informed that actually that morning someone had cancelled an appointment but that there was there no indication refering to me frustration aside, I asked again for a price guideline because I explained that I was waiting a whole week and wanted to make sure that it wasn't in vain. I was then told that it costed 10Eur per week. Ok, better to wait, I thought, considering that it more then half the price of the previous offer. The 8th of April finally arrived. I went all excited and full of energy to what I thought was my new fitness studio. When I got there I was sat on a chair and the girl comanding what felt like an interview, very professional with her i-pad, started putting down my options. So, making a long story short, if I wanted to join the classes i had to pay extra weekly. But paying extra for the classes wasn't enough if I wanted to joing the classes in the afternoon I also had to pay extra because in order to use the gym after a certain time also costed extra. So, may I ask, shouldn't they charge only half for the classes? If anyway you pay to join them, but you cannot, because most of them are in the late afternoon!? The end result was close to 80 Eur. I could not believe that I was sooooo clear before, explaining what I wanted and twice I was told FOR SURE no more then 40 Eur and in the end they were charging twice the amount. With 40 Eur you could not even join the basic tarif! I felt deceived and robbed of my own time. And who was going to make up for that? It shouldn't be so complicated and so full of hidding prices to join a gym. People have the right to know and to be informed without having to wait a whole week in the end to be deceived. I went imediatly to join the other gym and the next morning I was working out!
