No complimentary towels or water coolers. Bottled water can be purchased for 3 CHF. Climatization of this place has much to be desired in the summer. I have no idea what temperature it was inside, but it was just barely cooler than outside. Be prepared to sweat lots if you're doing cardio with any amount of intensity. This location only has a couple of tread mills, and they're ancient. Tip: If you're American, make sure you have the means to convert KPH to MPH, as KPH is the only reading you're going to get here. They do have free weights (barbells and dumbbells), stair machines, ellipticals, rowing machines, and most standard resistance machines. The attending staff is friendly, speak excellent English, and gave me one day complimentary due to their credit card machine not working.

Every single unique coach at this "box" are very inspiring and have their own "niche" speciality, so any class I end up attending, I know that I will enjoy it... and could be a good reason to attend classes w different coaches at times. The programs, staffing mix and weekday workouts at this "box" are carefully overseen by the Head Coach/Co-Owner Mortiz - who is very experienced and is passionate about CrossFit. Also not to forget, the good members here are also a huge reason why this "box" has a very supportive environment. You may see or hear... - "Keep that ball above that line!" (wall balls encouragement) - "One more round to go, come on!" (when you are on your fifth round...) - "If you can't do this, then you can scale by doing..." (so this box makes everyone feel welcomed - and they are very good about showing various techniques) - "You can save more energy if you do it this way..." However, under OR Art. 97 ff. and UWG Art. 3, a company must ensure that its core service works without special effort from the customer. Expecting people to hunt through fine print just to avoid hidden costs is exactly that -- special effort. If you don't cancel within 7 days, you are automatically subscribed to their second most expensive membership (CHF 999/year). For your information: this rule is nowhere visible on the sign-up screen for the 14-day trial. When you try to cancel, you have to send them an email -- but if your email address ends with @gmail.com, your messages apparently never reach them because Gmail automatically filters them out (makes you wonder why). They then "kindly" ask you to create a new email account to cancel your membership. But in their own AGB, it says they only accept cancellations from the email address you signed up with -- not from any other one, not by SMS, and not by post. They also automatically upgrade you to the Platin Abo instead of a basic one, which feels like an intentional way to make more money. The only "benefit" of the Platin version is access to a Platin gym -- and there's only one, in Baar. If you don't live near Baar, it's basically useless. If you try to find a phone number to call, prepare to spend time -- you have to dig through their website, click on the specific gym location, and only then find a number. In my experience, when I was suddenly told to pay the full amount, I didn't have the money. I asked for a 3-part payment plan, which added CHF 100 extra, bringing the total to CHF 1,099. The overall experience with this gym and its website was terrible. It genuinely feels like a honeypot -- it looks simple and harmless at first, but it's designed to trap you in an expensive contract if you don't read every line of their AGB and FAQ.
