The hours were tough before 2020 but now they are even tougher. If you are able to make the hours work, then I highly recommend it. Aside from that, it really is the best gym in town. Absolutely hate that I can't go there. The gym I go to now is huge and it's super busy. I don't feel like the cleanliness compares however it's open ALL the time. 3 years later, I still keep checking if anything has changed. If it ever does, I'll definitely go back.

The only gripe I have is, they recently updated a lot of the cardio equipment including the treadmills. These new treadmills are terrible to run on. They are causing me physical pain because it feels like you are running at a 1.5 slope when it says 0% grade. I've spoke with a few other gym goes and they concur. Hope this somehow gets to management so they can remedy this issue.

I signed up for a "free" 6-week workout program on a Monday... This included paying $698.88 for future use. I was told by the owner, Jacob Sager to begin the program the following Monday. The Friday before I was to begin, I went to the emergency room for a medical issue related to my heart. I contacted the owner the next day let him know that I needed to see a specialist and would not be able to start the program. I told him that I could get him a letter from the physician. I also told him that I would like a refund. He told me that he could postpone my start date, or I could transfer my 6-week program to someone else who I know who may want to start this program. He said that these were my only 2 options. He also told me that Anytime Fitness is very strict with refunds, and they are the reason he is not able to refund my money. I contacted AF corporate. I was told that AF corporate does not handle billing or refunds, and there was nothing that they could do to help because all locations are individually owned. Jacob also questioned me about my heart condition and tried to advise me on what medications I may need to use. He also told me that my condition is usually not life-threatening although he is not a physician. I asked for a refund, I asked for my deposit to be transferred to another client and then he could refund me, I asked if I provided a letter from my doctor if I could get a refund. In the end, he said he would not give me a refund. Jacob eventually said "worst comes to worse, I can probably just give you 699 of my own money." I spoke with Jacob and AF corporate again. I informed Jacob that corporate told me they do nothing with refunds or billing and that he would have to be the one to give me my money back. Jacob told me that he already offered me two options, as mentioned above, and would not give me my money back unless the doctor told me that I could never exercise again. And now corporate won't return my calls. So definitely find yourself a better corporation or privately owned gym
