I was a member of Fitness Unlimited. i joined in 2008 and left due to work commitments in 2010. In no point of my time did i ever feel the staff was impolite, poor, or ill mannered- in fact the very opposite. There was the owner, 2 other men, and 2 ladies who worked behind reception, and they ALLWAYS made me feel welcome and comfortable- I allways felt intimidated in a gym before, as i am a large middle aged woman, but fitness unlimited made me feel so comfortable with myself i didnt feel intimidated 1 bit! and through their great customer service and friendly regulars who would allways be polite and friendly saying hello if you passed them in the gym, i lost 1 1/2 stone and gained so much confidence!
Granted the gym is old and dated, and you wouldnt want to take a shower there! but thats the type of gym it is, its what you would call a bit of a hardcore gym with lots of sweaty men and not much women training there par the few who i became friends with, but dont let this deter you. If you want to exercise- plain and simple with no frills and in a very normal atmosphere then this place is for you, i wish i could still train there now :( (my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is purely down to the showering facilites) read more
