Ok my fellow Yelpers! I'm here today to reveal to you my secret dry rub! Yes, I know you're…read morethinking wow this should be interesting! This guy's reviews are always so touchy feely. But I can't help it, you know how I like to add my personal touch. But this time by the end of this review you will be in the market for a new rub. So without further ado here is some fun context to my story. As you know I grew up in Spokane, Washington which was a lot of fun, I had great parents and an amazing extended family of grandparents, uncles, cousins and for the most part we only saw each other on the holidays and birthdays. But in the summer we would rent a cabin on Williams Lake which is one of many lakes in the greater Cheney, Washington area. There was a small general store where you would rent the cabin, buy your groceries and discuss with the proprietor what hot new tackle to use for catching fish - you get the picture. Years later the cabins were torn down, new ones were built, along with a really nice retirement community. The general store was converted into a restaurant called The Bistro at Williams Lake and the resort is now called Klink's Resort and we have been frequenting the restaurant now for many years. Although I'm not specifically reviewing Klink's Resort or The Bistro, I would like to say the food is very good; but I'm writing about their amazing rub - Klink's Mediterranean Buckaroo Dry Rub. I'm not kidding, this is how it reads on the shaker, just don't judge a rub by its cover! I will take a picture of the shaker and upload for this review. To continue, I'm a proud owner of a Traeger Grill which is a smoker technology built right here in Oregon. It has a hopper, auger and hot box that uses vertical varieties of wood pellets for fuel. "I think Traeger makes a small fortune selling bags of pellets." As I began the hunt for that unique rub that would make me famous with the neighbors and family, I tried at least twenty different manufacturers and multiple varieties of rubs and they were all ok, but my search was over when I found Klink's. I use it on everything; chicken, steak and turkey. It is a savory rub not sweet and I think it's the best. But here is the tricky part, Klink's now only sells their rub in bulk, so here is how you can get your hands on it. There is a butcher shop in Spokane called Eggers Meats on the South Hill from which you can buy the rub in bulk. I will leave the URL for both Klink's and Eggers in this review. I hope this will aid you in your search for your secret rub so you too can impress your family and friends. Thank you Klink's for decades of memories and continuing to be a great part of my community. P.S. Here are the URL's for Klink's www.klinksresort.com and Eggers www.eggersbettermeats.com

Due to wet (spray coming over boat) and windy, not to mention dangerous conditions, we brought the boat in after 1/2 hour for a $50 rental (we could have had it the whole day at that price). I am thinking the guy would say something like, "Wow, back so soon?" But he knew I, and several other "customers" were quite upset. Sadly, I think they count on windy days for extra revenue. If people bring in the boats so quickly and get them out to new, unknowing and poorly advised customers (such as me). Stay away. This business may be bordering on dishonest.

Rental car pickup and return are especially easy, making the arrival and departure process much less stressful. TSA can look pretty backed up because there isn't much room for the lines, but in our experience, it usually moves faster than it appears. The TSA agents have also been consistently friendly, which is a nice contrast to some larger airports. My biggest complaint is the food selection. There used to be a Quiznos, but now the options are more limited, with a gastropub, a juice bar, and a coffee shop. I'd personally rather have a simple fast-food option, especially when looking for something less sugary. There also isn't much seating near the gates, so when flights are busy, you may end up standing until boarding starts.

Rental cars are conveniently located at the end of the corridor, and you can walk from the terminal to your car in just a couple of minutes. Drop-off is even easier. I can not tell you how much i appreciate this as someone who missed flights twice in my life and both were due to long rental car drop off processes. The whole airport follows a simple, straightforward flow--you basically move from one checkpoint to the next without much confusion. There is TSA PreCheck, although the process feels a little old-school. Instead of a clearly separated experience throughout, they hand you the classic blue card while you're in the TSA line to indicate PreCheck. Once through security, there's a small, circular food court with a few options, including coffee and a juice spot. From there, the airport continues with the same wonderfully simple layout, branching into two hallways for the A and B gates. Nothing fancy or overwhelming here--and that's exactly why I like it. Small, convenient, easy rental-car access, and you can get from one end to the other without wasting time. One of those airports that makes traveling just a little less stressful.
