For my 1*0*0*0*Th review I wanted to write about a business that sums up the spirit and individuality of Brighton. I was debating whether to go for a dive bar or gallery when I remembered Fish Tale Neon!
One of the first shops I fell in love with in Brighton, Fish Tale Neon is an inspiring neon sign shop and gallery on the sea-front. Located in an old arch a short walk from Brighton Pier, it's a magical place packed with flickering neon signs, solitary tubes of light, old vintage adverts and pieces of abandoned fairgrounds. If you're wanting something special for yourself, a loved one or your business, go and see what they can do.
Funfair and amusement enthusiasts should note that co-owner Andy Doig has created some stunning light installations for local gallery Ink-d using old fairground letters, lights and crosses. If I had a cool two grand spare, I'd definitely consider buying the bent, perspex L.O.V.E letters in candy striped red and white. read more
