It's been a while since I was here and I had to do a lot of work to choose, contact and then visit the dive shop. Many search engines give phone numbers that do not work and Yelp is kind of sparse in the Philippines. So most businesses, sometimes do not show up. Personally, I think they need more exposure because some of these places are good and in my review I wish to highlight these establishments. One of the owners, Marge, was polite and friendly, and was willing to accommodate my schedule. Even though I have done it many times at other dive shops in different countries, I still like to only go for the discover scuba which is sometimes called a beginners course class and is about three hours. Luca was my instructor and he took very good care of me, gave a good theory presentation and was very patient with me in both the confined lesson in the ocean and then of course the main boat dive. Unfortunately, Boracay seems to be depleted of a lot of marine life, and the visibility was not very good either, but there was a lot of coral to witness. That is why the dive site is called Coral Garden.

So locals, have jumping locations set up throughout the island. The challenge to jump can be intimidating but the excitement of all the people jumping off truly pulls you to want to try. And why not?! I dove off the first 3 platforms. Theres about 5 or 6. As you dive in the blue clear waters of the Philippine sea, you immediately realize how deep it can be sooo make sure you have a plan on which direction to swim. They have nets set up in the area so its a no brainer to swim in that direction. The cost to enter is fairly inexpensive. I believe its only $10, or 500 pesos. Take your friends and just jump!! You wont regret this experience.

This write-up is actually for WaterColors Dive Adventures; WaterColors' dive shop at Station 3…read more I wanted to introduce my 13 year old daughter to scuba diving and had her take Discovery Scuba when we recently spent our vacation in Boracay. I am a bit familiar with the shop and have heard of the excellent quality of their services albeit not having experienced it first-hand prior to this trip. I must say that they've met and exceeded my expectations. Our experience with WaterColors was so satisfying that my daughter immediately got bitten by the diving bug. 'A special shout-out to the front desk staff Mitchie (sp) and especially my daughter's dive master/instructor, Jenny. I and my daughter are so pleased to have known you and be on the receiving end of your commendable service done with the utmost professionalism.
