Those qualities and more shine through in his photography. His professionalism and ability to crack a joke to get a toddler to look at a camera and smile cannot be understated. We wanted a quick little session for some family photos when my son was around 1.5 years old. The weather was starting to warm up and we wanted to capture some actual photos of us all that weren't taken with an iPhone. Paul and I set up a quick session for a day/time that worked well with weather and found a nice spot to meet up for photos. I did say my son was 1.5 years old right? So he was not thrilled about sitting still for photos. Paul's ability to grab candid shots, entertain a toddler, and even make the impossible task of capturing a rambunctious toddler on camera happen almost seamlessly. My wife was so blown away with the photos Paul took, she immediately told me we will have to go back and have another session when our son is a bit older. (Plus we have to bring the dog in too) Paul will not only capture the perfect photo for you, but the work he will do to make you feel comfortable, camera ready, and deliver a great product is unmatched. I recommend checking out Living in the Buff for any of your video or photography needs.

I've seen him at many events over the years and been photographed by him on numerous occasions. His attention to detail speaks volumes. I also follow him on his social media- he is quick to get back to his clients and turn-around time for photos doesn't take long at all. I don't give out 5 stars often so I hope that speaks for itself. I'd recommend him, hands down, for any of your photography needs!

I had always wanted to get some professional photos taken and decided this would be a good year. I had some questions and Sarah was very responsive and happy to help. I was lucky that she had some availability that matched with our schedule. She was able to get us in right away. She let us choose between Chestnut Ridge and a Christmas tree farm to take pictures, it was nice to have some input. She brought some props and welcomed bringing your own if you had something special. We brought our new puppy and were excited to incorporate her into our family pictures. My significant other and I aren't really into taking pictures. We never take any when we go out but felt motivated this year to have some nice ones for our home and a Christmas card. I think we weren't quite sure what to expect and were just hoping for the best. I am happy to share that Sarah made us very comfortable and made the session fun. Nothing felt forced or staged too hard which was a bonus. She got us our edited pictures back very quickly and we were thrilled with the results. The pictures are amazing and more beautiful than I'd have imagined. I highly recommend her, you won't be disappointed.

Dear reader of this review,…read more Stefan is amazing! The work he does really speaks for itself. My husband and I were a little late in the game when it came to finding a photographer. We wanted someone who could do both photography and videography, and that's when we found Stefan. From the very beginning, he was so kind and such a joy to work with. On our very first Zoom call, we already knew he was the one we wanted. At the time, he was in Germany--it was midnight for him, but 6 PM for us here in the States. Anyone willing to stay up that late just to get to know us is clearly dedicated to their clients! Even though we had already taken our own engagement photos, Stefan offered us a free session with him so we could get comfortable working together before the wedding. I'm so glad he did, because it made our actual wedding day so much easier and more relaxed. On the big day, Stefan and Colin were not only kind but also super attentive. Colin kept checking that we stayed hydrated (it was such a hot day!), and both of them made sure everything we needed was taken care of. Watching them work together was such a treat--they make a great team. So if you're on the fence about booking Stefan for photos or video--just do it! You won't regret it. Thank you again, Stefan, for everything you did. We'll definitely be back whenever we need a photographer! From two very happy newlyweds, Jasmine & Sage Fiorucci

He was amazing to work with; our meetings with him were fun and put us at ease while also being incredibly informative. Even though we were planning our wedding from out of town, we never had a difficult time getting in touch. Day of, he went above and beyond, traveling with us to a few locations for pictures and walking us through a variety of shots. He even stayed a bit late to make sure he captured everything we wanted when the reception was running behind schedule. He had a few preview photos ready to see before the reception even ended and had all the rest available for us to view in an easily accessible online gallery a few weeks later. His giffy booth was also a hit with our guests. Our photos turned out gorgeous! He has a great eye for the posed shots but was also great at capturing people smiling and having fun naturally, which is exactly what we wanted. I could not recommend anyone more highly.

Happiest day of their life is forever tarnished by Bound and Branch. Nothing but excuses and lies. Run!! Then they have the audacity to say that people leaving bad reviews is defamation of character... which is false because everything being said is true. Hiring Bound and Branch to photograph our wedding was one of the biggest regrets of our planning…read moreprocess. We chose their 8-hour package specifically because it included two photographers--an important detail for us, as we had a large wedding party and a sprawling venue. We wanted to ensure that all the key moments would be captured from multiple perspectives. We reached out several times before the wedding--both through their portal and via text--to try and get the names of our assigned photographers (we had a friendship bracelet seating chart and wanted to represent them!), but we never received a response. We also shared a Pinterest board to help convey the vibe we were going for--candids, black-and-white shots, editorial portraits, etc. Unfortunately, this was completely disregarded. Then came the wedding day: just as photography coverage was supposed to begin, we were informed that only one photographer would be coming. The second had apparently tested positive for COVID. We asked for proof due to a COVID clause in the contract, and the entire situation quickly soured. After the wedding, we requested a 25% refund--just for the fact that half the expected photo team didn't show up. Their response was extremely unprofessional and defensive. They explained that they don't charge for a second photographer and that their pricing is based on just one. This felt misleading--nowhere in the initial booking process was that clear, and it certainly wasn't communicated that the second photographer was essentially a "bonus" and not part of the paid service. Worse, the owner made comments like: "If you're holding me to contract standards, then I'll only deliver 350-450 photos, and any extras will cost $8 each." I was stunned. After such a disappointing experience, this felt like a threat disguised as customer service. I told them to keep the money, clearly they needed it more than I did. When we finally received the gallery, the disappointment deepened. The photos lacked the vibe we hoped for--no black and whites, very few candids, nothing artistic or emotionally evocative. We didn't even get one usable photo of our entire wedding party. Family photos were poorly composed, some with eyes closed, and important shot list items were missed completely--because, as we later learned, the photographer who showed up had never been given the list. Communication between the owners and their photographer was clearly non-existent. This was the biggest day of my life--one of the very few times I'll ever need a professional photographer to truly capture the moment. And yet, I didn't even have a single photo that felt special enough to use on our thank-you cards. That's something you can't get back, and the lack of accountability from the company made it worse. To top it off, when my best friend left a negative review based on everything we'd been through, the owner texted me privately--offering $400 to have the review taken down. That amount, ironically, is what we were told a second photographer costs them... so why wasn't this offered upfront as a refund when we asked in good faith? This experience was a painful letdown, and I would not recommend Bound and Branch to anyone looking for professionalism, communication, or any sense of accountability on one of the most important days of their life.
