Als "Lösung" wurde uns angeboten, das Essen zum Mitnehmen zu bestellen und es anschließend in der Lobby unseres Hotels zu verzehren. Für eine internationale Geschäftsgruppe, die ein gemeinsames Abendessen geplant hatte, ist das weder angemessen noch gastfreundlich. Dieses Vorgehen ist nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern beschädigt auch das Ansehen des Restaurants und wirft gleichzeitig ein schlechtes Licht auf das gesamte Hotel. Das Verhalten grenzt an Rassismus und hinterlässt einen äußerst negativen Eindruck. Für internationale Gäste oder Geschäftsreisen ist dieses Lokal daher nicht empfehlenswert.

It's a bit embarrassing to see grown people resort to pricey (as delicious as the may be) apple crumble pie as they realize they just came in to feed the family on a day at the beach, not accidentally go fine dining on wooden benches.

What they do do well is the interior design. They keep the place up to date, renovating about every 5 years, so you don't get an old and stodgy feeling from the place. Before Gösch came, this was the most popular restaurant in town, but that really doesn't mean it is the best. If you are looking for uncomplicated simple food with no surprises in a friendly environment with a decent location, then you can go to Cafe Köm.
