What they do do well is the interior design. They keep the place up to date, renovating about every 5 years, so you don't get an old and stodgy feeling from the place. There is always a decent crowd at the place, and if the weather is nice the outside tables are full. The service is quick, young and friendly, and the prices are fair. Before Gösch came, this was the most popular restaurant in town, but that really doesn't mean it is the best. If you are looking for uncomplicated simple food with no surprises in a friendly environment with a decent location, then you can go to Cafe Köm.

The waiters were ok, but were extremely inflexible when it came to special wishes or changes in a desired dish (again, from a fairly limited, expensive menu), and then because they wanted to close early (we were the last guests there), they slammed the bill on the table and said they were closing, so we had to pay (nearly 40 minutes before they were supposed to close).... Despite this, there is a nice ambiance and the food was fairly tasty (though the plate of pasta was not worth nearly €20, and I had to ask for bread!). Nevertheless, make sure you are ready to part with your euros - though the view may make it worth your while.
