Like one reviewer said, Tim's review is old and today it's currently well-stocked. It's not the fanciest place, but hey, we live in small towns, sometimes they are the only place with potato salad or good hamburger. I mean, DUH it's not Meijer, but it does have your essentials: milk, bread, tea, cereal, toilet paper. I really do like this store and the small size. I am done with the Plymouth location. I have been going there since we moved to the area and I have…read morenever been treated so poorly at any other location. I was with my youngest and made a purchase through the express checkout. One item was a box of chips (that was way overpriced). It was too big to put in a bag so I clicked on "skip bagging" and put it back in my cart, paid, and left. I even exchanged pleasantries with the manager/supervisor on duty. As I get to my car, a young employee comes up to me and says her manager wanted her to check and make sure I didn't walk out with two boxes. Seriously?! I kept my calm and showed the receipt and as she tried to look in my car I told her I haven't put anything in my car yet. I have NEVER given the employees there any reason to think I've stolen anything and I'm usually in there weekly. This is not the first time I have felt targeted but I tried to brush it off. Now I know it's clear that I am not wanted in the store due to my skin color. Do better Martins!

All the…read morevegetables were gorgeous and they had a great variety lots of nice things very surprising everyone was pleasant so, I made my way but way back to the "Deli" When we got to the hot food deli as we had been in a hotel, we both decided to get something there. The food was old but we were under the understanding the fried chicken was fresh. So we asked about ordering the dark meat because that's all both of us eat. The lady said "no" "you have to get everything or I can't sell it to you"! So, we relented as we were so car tired.and got it the way she was selling it. The we chose the Mac n cheese and one more side. The mashed potatoes were dried up and they didn't have any thing else. So, my wife chose the onion rings. The did "look " fresh. And she gave us 4 / 2 by 2 rolls! We got back to the hotel and my wife put out that food. Everything was old we ate some chicken and Mac n cheese but the onion rings weren't edible. Eat The store was great but avoid the Deli at all cost! Had we been treated better and told the food was old we would have purchased Subs. Because of the rudeness of the deli lady the reviewer Only give them 4 stars Kroger in La Port Indiana beautiful store with a wide variety of groceries. Deli hot food is pre-historic!

When I told her she was not being helpful, she replied, "No, I'm not," and simply walked away. I was shocked by both her response and her attitude. I hope this is taken seriously and addressed with her directly.

When you walk inside it's pretty small but it's set up to let you see what's available. I was immediately greeted and my order was taken. Staff was friendly and polite. The fish and chips came out hot and took about 10mins. I like that they leave the end flaps open to avoid the crispy fish from steaming in the box. Though I wish maybe they leaned it against the fries or something because the bottom was pretty soggy from being flat against the bottom. The flavor was good and the fries were crispy and seasoned. Over all it's a good meal and worth a visit if in the area.
