What a cool experience at this Hamburg Fish Market! Whether you're looking to go as a tourist and…read moretry some tasty treats, or stop by as a local and get produce for the week, or a local restaurant looking for fresh catch, this place is for you! We arrived around 8am on a Sunday and stayed until closing at 9:30. The area was full of vendors with apparel, souvenirs, handmade German items, fresh fish, treats, veggies, fruits, and more. I enjoyed having a smoked salmon fish sandwich for breakfast. Highly recommend this on the water experience.

Situated across the road from the Fischmarkt every Thursday is the Wochenmarkt. It's not the…read morebiggest in the world but has all the necessaries for a market. You can expect a fruit&veg, cheese, pies & Co., flowers, bread & cakes, plus others, and saving the best to last of course a sausage & chips stand. I must recommend this place and the service is great and the food too! Prices are normal for a market in Hamburg (Currywurst Pommes EUR4). This market is relatively new, I believe at the start of this year they started it up. Of course very popular once more from the worker bee's from around the area. Unfortunately I forgot my mobile so no pictures yet. Will remember to do that next week :)
