We stopped in for brunch on a Friday around 12:40 and were seated right away, but there were only a few seats left. My wife opted for one of the juices (Morning Meditation) and we got in our food orders. The juice came right away and the entrees followed in short order. I got the Healthy Turkey Egg Dish. The omelette was great. The toast was good, and jelly amazing! I got the tomato side, and it was 3 slices that were OK, but I'd probably sub out another side the next time. What she got was actually not vegan, but had asked the waitress to replace the meat with extra veggies and they didn't give a problem. We have been sleeping on First Watch. I'm pretty anti-food chains so never gave it a thought to try this place but I'm so happy we finally did. A cute, farm to table styled restaurant with southern hospitality and great service. We've now visited this location twice in the past week lol I absolutely love their fresh organic greens with a lemon dressing and the smoked salmon frittata was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Everything just tastes so fresh. I'm a huge fan of their fresh juices too - the morning meditation has beet, orange, lemon, turmeric & agave! Great start. I stopped in for breakfast this morning around 8:30 knowing that they were likely to get very busy on Easter Sunday. I was greeted with an open door and a smile and promptly seated. They weren't too busy as I expected. The server arrived at my table quickly and took my order for coffee. When she came back she took my order which arrived very quickly. I had the Chickichanga which was like a chimichanga. The filling was chicken, chorizo, cheese, egg, green chilis with a creamy verde sauce over the top. I asked for my sour cream in the side. I substituted the potatoes for fruit. The fillings in the burrito were not evenly distributed and my first several bites were exclusively chorizo and there was barely any chicken in it at all. It was freshly prepared, but hastily assembled resulting in the uneven fillings. The fruit was all fresh and cold. The service overall was good, felt impersonal. I will go back the First Watch as i have been a customer for years in another state and this location was comparable, but had nothing distinguishing it. This was a hard rating to decide on because the person I was with got breakfast tacos that were delicious, but I was not overly impressed with my Benedict. There was very little bacon and my egg didn't run in the way I expect a Benedict to. I did enjoy the addition of the avocado, and it actually meshed well with the hollandaise, but of all the Benedicts I've had, this is pretty low on my list. Also, I ordered a mimosa and got half a glass of orange juice and the champagne to pour in myself. Needless to say, I am not a bartender and have no future career as one. Chicken was tender and the bacon added a nice sweet and salty flavor; topped with an aioli that added a nice but not overbearing flavor. Felt like getting a good and healthy brunch today so decided to try First Watch. I ordered the Bacon omelette with black coffee. It also had toast and some weird greens. Overall, the food was decent. Came out quick and got. The toast was soaking with butter but I ate it anyways. Regardless, 1 hour after eating at this location I i start to have a TERRIBLE stomach ache. This is the ONLY food I have eaten and now I can barely get to the bathroom fast enough. I just got food poisoning from First Watch today. I am still feeling like crap. I wish I could have taken the food for the doctors to test it, but I didn't take any to go. Anyways I would highly NOT recommend this for anyone. Not sure if they didn't wash their hands today or didn't wash the greens before serving. But I am 100% positive I have food poisoning from here and I will never return. read more
