We were just calling off of the number on the real estate signs mostly and ended up with a couple "ok" realtors and bunch of "dud" realtors - many who wouldn't even return our phone calls. We noticed Paul had dozens of homes for sale in the Midway area so we decided to give him a shot. Boy was that a Great Decision!! Marlene answered Paul's phone and had us set up the next day for 8 showings and also an appointment for Paul to see our home to make sure we could get enough for our home to purchase in the price range we were looking at. In Paul's ads it says he's CHicago's Biggest Man in Real Estate!" and he actually was! We thought we were meeting with Pavarati's twin brother. Paul is such a nice guy - always has a big smile and clearly loves what he does. He had our home up on the market in 4 days, under contract in 3 weeks and we closed 2 months later on both homes! The buyer who was buying our home had a little trouble securing his loan so Paul jumped right in and helped the other agent and his buyer get their loan through another lender Paul worked with. We very very nervous when that happened but Paul told us not to worry, that he would get us through successfully to the end of the sale - and he did! He truly was a miracle worker! We love the home still and Paul still stays in touch with us. He's always dropping by every few months with a little "gift" for us (BBQ sauce for the 4th of July, homemade hot pepper jelly from his garden this Fall!). He also gives us updates on what's going on with the real estate market and what improvements to our home will add the most value. We don't have any family in the Chicago area but we will definitely refer our neighbors and coworkers to Paul and Marlene!
