First time visiting County Line Church of God. I've heard good things about this church through…read morethe years. What I found matches the reputation. First off...and most importantly...County Line focused their words and actions on God. The message preached the Gospel of Christ. I heard Jesus paid the price for our sins and we come to him by believing. Through that we have redemption of sin and eternity with Him. There was an invitation offered so people could respond to the message. Well done! The preacher was very relatable. He had an easy going style and was easy to listen to & follow. On this occasion he only used one scripture set of verses. Today was baptism. So wouldn't expect this to be a deep message for those that seek that. Perhaps another time. The worship music was a combination of modern worship songs plus a couple portions of hymns. The band is pretty mild - no rock show on this day. The lighting and graphics were enough to attract you to the venue but not dominate your senses. I felt like I could worship God via song here. The facility is large but a bit chopped up. There was signage to direct you. There were plenty of friendly faces in black shirts to greet you and guide you. I felt welcomed. The auditorium seats about 1300 people. The chairs are very comfortable. Every seat would allow you to see the stage. I found the parking lot to be large and easy to navigate. There was lots of handicap parking for those that need it. I'm told that the 9:30a Sunday service is very full while the 11a service is mostly open. I would encourage a visitor, seeker or someone who is looking for a church to evaluate County Line. You will find the Gospel being presented, friendly faces and a more gentle/conservative style rock worship.
