I have one daughter in the JO program and another in the xcel program. Both programs are exactly what they need and are treated equally. Gymnastics is a tough sport and I'm super thankful that my daughters are able to learn lifelong lessons at a gym that cares about them as individuals as well as what they can provide to their teams. We spend a lot of time here and the atmosphere is truly caring. From the littlest rec gymnasts up to the level 10 gymnasts, they push them to be their best and provide the tools needed. He has started to really try and focus more and use his self control. They really make him feel good about himself, always coming at him with positivity and high 5s. One thing that I really love is not only are they welcoming to all, they talk to each person at their level. If they are trying to tell my son something, they get down to his level and talk in a way he can understand instead of talking to him like he should know what he is supposed to do. The senseis are very patient and kind to him and make it very fun. He is always ready for class!

My son has continues to train from afar and makes trips to Springfield just to train. Kyle, Audrey, and Lindsey as well as the other teachers lead by example; they train along side their students and teach them so much more than just martial arts. This is a family where the training is unparalleled and the life lessons are not overlooked. I WISH something similar existed closer to home but am forever grateful for the family and friends we've made here and for what they've meant to my son and by extension, our family. We're 14 years in and continuing the journey. Thank you Kyle and team, we always look forward to our time on the mat!

The instructors here are top notch, and I could not possibly be any more impressed with their professionalism and knowledge in the art of KENPO Karate. Their patience and wisdom at this school is second to none. There is also a lineage to Grandmaster Ed Parker the founding father to American KENPO. In my opinion this ranks it number one in Springfield, Missouri. Please understand that when you come to the school there is an unwritten code here, "EARNED NEVER GIVEN," you will advance only with hard work and perseverance. Call Phil Retana today and schedule a time to come to the studio and chat. Walking in the door the very first time really is the hardest part.

I'm now no longer afraid of climbing and am really starting to look forward to going and challenging myself at the gym. The facility is almost always packed, but if you go early in the day or later in the evening it isn't so chaotic. In our couple months of being here they've changed the holds on the walls at least twice. Maybe three times. I like that they don't change everything all at once so you get a chance to do some ones you know while trying new ones. I like how you can purchase or rent anything you would need here. The employees are very kind and helpful. And the community of climbers are very encouraging and also equally kind and helpful. It's a great place to come if you're interested in climbing or learning to climb.
