No, that's a big lie. I got a deposit on Friday from a Client and guess what, no money. So I called the so called customer service and they stated that the deposit would be available on Monday, even told me how much it was. I was so mad, so I called customer service back and this new one said no such deposit was on the books and that they all use the same computers with the same information. These people are not honest, and advertise false statements. If they lie about this what else are they liying about. I'm going to go get my money back and close that account. I don't have any of the new cards and it's the weekend so I have no access to any of my money and I'm getting calls and late charges because my bills aren't getting paid. How hard is it to follow your own directions on paperwork you created? Unacceptable. Now I have to take off work to try to fix what y'all screwed up. I'm changing banks. I've had a bank account for 50+ years and have never heard of this! I've had accounts with Chase, BOA, PNC (still do that one) and they all allow withdrawal slips to be handed out. But FSB, they don't allow withdrawal slips to be placed in the lobby so you can pick you a couple up for your convenience for next or give you any in the drive thru unless you're filling it out for a withdrawal at that exact moment. I spoke to the SVP at the Mabank branch this morning, don't remember the man's name, not important at this point. He stated they don't do this because of fraud. My question now is, have you had a lot of fraud issues First State Bank? Do your employees not do their due diligence before cashing a withdrawal slip, (i.e., look at DL, address, signature on file, etc.?) I think I'll answer that question for you, apparently not, and you must have in the past and have decided to inconvenience everyone who banks with you from that moment on and in the future not to allow anyone withdrawal slips until that time of need. Or, perhaps, you'd like us to order more checks which cost money. I very rarely use checks and sure don't want to have to pay for them. For a small town, small time bank, I don't know how your britches got so big! I believe I'll take my money which might not be much & my business elsewhere. So funny, they don't even allow reviews on their own website because they know they'd have more negatives than positives. If you see all the reviews I have you may say to yourself, she sure does have a lot of negative reviews. You know why?
