I proceeded to tell her we were already given incorrect information and to verify with him. There was already an extension placed on the account due to this and would like her to verify she was unwilling and refused to verify with him.

We lived in Germany for four of those 10 years, and while overseas, we never paid fees on ATMs or transactions. They kept up communication despite the fact that we were in a different country. Most banks make you pay fees for traveling and using your card. The only fee ever pay is a five dollar bill pay fee, and I only pay it if I don't pay 3 of my bills through the bill pay I set up. They have caught fraudulent charges on our account and contacted us within an hour of it happening. (Card numbers were stolen from an online store once and mass theft of info the second time) First bank contacted me, stopped the charges and reissued me a new card. Sure credit unions are great, but they have their issues too and quite frankly, most of these reviews are either petty complaints or from people who don't understand how banking works. I would go to no other bank. I only give 4 stars because I want to give them Room to improve. When shopping for a bank account, don't rely on angry people on yelp. Read other reviews from bankers, and people in the industry. Look at their policies and procedures, list of fees etc things that matter. Don't base that decision on a free toaster. Yes customer service is important but if you're an idiot who refuses to try and understand or just an ass hole, then you deserve what service you get.

I delivered the check, only for the recipient to point out it was still misspelled. I went back to the bank to get it canceled and reissued, but the manager told me it was my responsibility to check. I explained that their employee had filled it out three times, and I reasonably assumed it was correct by the last attempt. It's not my fault they have incompetent employees.

Very poor customer service today. I waited about 10 minutes at the drive-through window. No one…read morecame. No voice on the speaker said they'd be right with me, even after I pressed the button for service. Finally, I gave up and went inside. They were not particularly busy. The 3 tellers each had a customer, and I took my place as 3rd in line. When I got up to a teller, she told me sorry, she had to help someone *in the drive-through* and that I needed to step back in line. When the next teller took me, I told her about it. She was very nice and apologetic. I said it wasn't her fault, but if the drive-through was closed, they should put a sign up saying so. Westerra, want to know what this makes a customer feel like when the teller told me to get back in line because she had to tend to the drive-through customer after I'd spent 10 minutes in the drive-through? It makes the customer feel like every other customer matters more than they do. I've been your member for over ten years. Do better. Do way better.

The bank still closed my account and I had to open a new account with Chime. This Financial institution is definitely not worth having an account with! I have trouble every month with my Social Security check. Social Security deposits my check on the 3rd of every month, but Chime holds my check until the 28th-31st. I would never recommend Chime Financial institution to anyone. I am going to change everything to a real bank. Every time I called Chime to talk to an agent, I got a different answer to my question. I was told that my Social Security check would be deposited on the 16th of February and it's not in my account as of today. I want to report Chime Financial institution to the Better Business Bureau because they have lied to me and kept my Social Security checks for 26-31 days when my check is deposited on the 3rd of every month. I want Chime to send my Social Security check to me within 2 days or I will press charges against them for fraud. I need a real bank account.

Also, I prefer small banks. I want people to know me and I prefer to know them. Being just a customer isn't good enough to me. It's a two-way street here. You prove yourself and they prove themselves. I never feel pushed into products etc.. I feel they treat everyone equally too. Whether you live paycheck to paycheck or you have lots of $$$ in your account, you are a valued customer. Gina is ALWAYS helpful! Dennis is honest and direct, which I appreciate. If they don't have the answer, they say so; but also do their best to find the answer. That goes a long way!! They are fast on transactions and help monitor for fraud. Their fees are lower than 1st Bank or other big banks. Some of the cons are hours, it can feel short. There is NO drive-thru. The lobby is spacious but parking is a pain. There is only street parking, after all this is Cherry Creek. It truly would be perfect if there was drive-thru or designated parking.
